A note for those with mobility issues: the hillside location gives great views, but entails a short up hill walk to the hotel; also, being an older building, there is no air...

「Modern facilities with old-fashioned charm. The rooms are a good size; we had a view of the garden which was very pleasant. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is decked out in crisp white table cloths with smartly dressed waiters. 「The room was clean, the staff were very friendly. It was hot outside so the air conditioning was very welcome. The breakfast was excellent. The only thing to be aware of is that if you have a car the Pomme D'Or does not have its own car park. You have to use the car park of a sister hotel which is a 16 minute walk away.」
