From the moment you arrive the staff make you feel very welcome.always smiling and asking if you need anything.location could not be better and the rooms are excellent. We ate at the hotel on 2 evenings and the food and service was honestly 1st class. the breakfast was also very very good with eggs cooked to your liking, all the usual cooked items, smoked salmon, fruit and fresh squeezed fruit juices.it was something that made you want to get up for each morning.

Excellent location, generally helpful staff. I guess because of the location it was very busy and at times unbearably noisy in the restaurant and public areas

The hotel is in an excellent position. The facilities like the spa are very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The only issue is with rooms on the 4th floor of the old part of the hotel (silver rooms), where the sloping roof on one side is uncomfortable. I would ask not to be in those rooms.

The hotel was lovely my only disappointment was that we were given a room at the back that looked at other people's apartments. Which was a little unpleasant. When you see exactly what others are up to. Would of been nice if we had been facing the front.

Hotel is very dated old wooden panels in bed rooms etc, carpets thread bare and stained, bathroom dated, we had one of the Golden rooms (room 411) quite expensive. The hotel is very noisy weekend with live music playing outside in it's bars. BUT, very well situated close to all amenities and close to the ferry port for trips.

Excellent location and quality of accommodation. Had a fabulous time. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Food in the restaurants high quality. Spa was lovely. Could do with a heated towel rail in the bathrooms but that’s a small thing really. Overall excellent. Would definitely come back.
