We did not get the room we pre booked and paid for in September 2025 for one full week . We arrived last week and instead of seaview we got the view of another hotel with extremely loud noise from air conditioners cooling that other hotel with piping showing. So balcony not usable so trip ruined. When we went back to hotel staff they moved us next day to same room one floor up which was worse. Staff were unfriendly and WiFi never worked well …we never got text messages the whole week. Do not stay in the clipper it is very run down and very basic. The pictures on site are all very deceiving and old. Breakfast very plain and not tasty so we ate off site at the nearby restaurants . The staff in the restaurant are not friendly either.

Ce pourrait être une hôtel extraordinaire mais l’entretien des bâtiments est nulle. Cela dit, l’emplacement est très bien, le site et l’architecture sont vraiment très bien, le petit-déjeuner et le dîner du soir sont très bon, la chambre confortable et le personnel sans reproche. On y va car le prix est bon mais déception à ceux qui ont des attentes de luxe. Cette hôtel est dans un état lamentable. En espérant que les propriétaires aient un projet de rénovation à court terme.

I particularly enjoyed the breakfast here. The ingredients were fresh and the bread was excellent. However, out of the four coffee machines in the breakfast area, two were not working, and at times as many as three were out of order. The front desk staff were generally very good and were eager to help me with matters such as bus routes, making change, and arranging taxis. What also left a strong impression on me was that the local ecology seems to be well preserved. There are a cat, chickens, seagulls, and other birds freely roaming around the hotel, and one evening I even saw a sea turtle.
