「Good location, walkable distance to restaurants and city center. Limited parking could be a problem for late check ins. Door codes were convenient, easy check in and entry. Shared kitchen was fully equipped. Spacious room but there was a stain in the ceiling which could be potentially a leak upstairs, hopefully they will fix it. 「Everything is fair as this is located at the countryside so you cant expect a lot. The walls are thin so we heard noise from other guests checking in late at night and talking loud when we fell asleep.」

「After a long, exhausting drive from the East, my family & I arrived in Akureyri around 1:00 am. We were completely exhausted after driving from the South & just ready to get some rest. 「There are two cottages in this hostel. We stayed at cottage Akur. It is extremely comfy and spacious with three rooms. There is laundry machine in the cottage so it helps a lot! Supermarket- Bonus is very close by.」
