The hotel was nice; no kettle in the room; it is rather stressing how they impose on you to pay tips everywhere you go. If you go to the pool and you dare not to tip for the service staff is paid for they will not serve you.

Was not for us- too crowded. People put towels on pool chairs at 7a then no one else could use them. Food very expensive. Room was nice but no nicer than many others. Could smell marijuana at the pool. Older guy in hot tub smoking something in his underwear- it was gross.

Lobby, halls and rooms are gorgeous. Pool areas are clean. The hot tub was lovely once I found it hidden down a narrow bush- lined walkway. Checkout was efficient- from the TV in our room. The Lobby area was overwhelming. People were lining up in several directions and we had trouble figuring out which was the correct line to see if we could check in early or at least leave our luggage. The walk from the Lobby to the Guest elevators went through the casino and the entrance to Guest elevators was difficult to find. Pool area noisy with loud music. Ditto the Casino areas- lots of flashing lights and noise.

There's a security guard and you have to tap yourr keycard to gain access to the hotel which feels a bit secure for the hotel guests. However there's not enough signs to show you where to go for transport etc.

It is the Venetian! It's iconic and beautiful with central location on the strip. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable. However, I had a disappointing experience at the pool. My daughter and I wanted to have some drinks and fruit salad. We ordered a coke, french fries and a fruit salad using the mobile ordering option. We waited for 30 minutes with no one bringing our food. I checked with the server sho told me she would check on it. Another 35 minute went by. Mind you, when you do a mobile order, you have to stay at your seat, so you can't get in the pool. Yo have to wait by your lounger. So my daughter and I waited for over an hour. No food came. Only the coke. I didn't think french fried and fruit salad takes that long to make. By this time, we had to leave as we had a show to go to. I approached the poolside restaurant to ask for a refund. The manager kept me waiting there for another 10 minutes only to tell me that the refund will be processed in 8 days or something like that. The issue is not the money at all. My order was something like $30. I paid over $500 a night to stay at the Venetian. It's the treatment that upset me. Instead of sending fruit salad to my room free of charge or offering something to compensate for the careless treatment, they just brushed it off like nothing. I will not stay here again. It's overrated. No matter how beautiful the hotel is, the guests have to be treated well. It's not acceptable.

I began every day in a bad mood because I had to wait at least 30 minutes for coffee. And once I got it I had to drink it right now before it got cool. Because in a fancy place like that they don't give you a microwave to heat your coffee or anything else.

This resort is large and takes some getting used to for getting around. The staff was great in helping line everything out and the property is beautiful. There was some noise from the hall as people would make their way to and from their rooms, but it was far less than any other place I have stayed. The stay here was enjoyable and it I make another trip to Las Vegas the Venetian will be at the top of my list.
