We were a group of 14. We think this is a very good option in their price range. I would recommend having more control over the dogs laying around the property. They were all friendly, but for some people this could be unappealing.

My wife and I enjoyed the property. There were a few minor improvements that could be done to enhance the appearance such as the roof tiles in the room with the ocean view. But besides that, we enjoyed our stay.

Pague por la habitacion mas cara que tenian, 3 pisos, con un bano, cocina, sala. No habian toallas o algo con que limpiar en la cocina, ni siquiera una esponja. uno de los cuchillos estaba quebrado. Encotramos in raton en un cuarto que corrio por todos lados toda la noche. Comimos en el restaurante de ellos y les pedi 3 pina colada sin alcohol para mis 3 hijos. Mi hija de 14 anios se tomo casi un tercio de el baso, mi hija de 16 tomo un trago, y mi hijo de 11 anios, me dijo que la bebida no sabia bien, cuando la probe, tenia alcohol, le dije al mesero y el no lo podia creer, asi que el mismo lo probo y se dio cuenta que si tenia alcohol, asi que se los llevo y trajo la bebida debida pero my hijo ya no se lo quiso tomar porque ya no le tuvo confianza a las bebidas. lo traumatizaron porque ahora me piude que pruebe sus bebidas antes de tomarlas. Le dije al hotel todo lo que paso medijeron que ivan a llamar al dueno que estaba en Francia y que me llamaban despues......todavia estoy esperando la llamada.

A good choice for Terrenas

A good design, calm and natural environment. Nice and helpful recepcionistes and other employees Comfortable and clean. Only bar prices are a little bit high but the breakfast was really good The sea (ocean); you cannot swim because of the waves but the view was good. And Coson isnt the center of the city so you may need a car for central town

Gourgeous Hotel

Gorgeous hotel on a Gorgeous beach. Spacious rooms, clean, A/C, mini fridge with water bottles. All rooms are about 100 feet from beach. Secluded beach lined with rows of palm trees. A must stay when going to Las Terrenas.

Definitely coming back. This property is beautiful and spacious. I think they can improve maintenance in the luxury villa, but everything was clean and working well. Zacarias from front desk and Edwin at the restaurant were very attentive and friendly thank you.

We had a wonderful experience at Casa Cosón! We highly recommend anyone to stay here as well. Service was in general excellent, even though the breakfast service could have been more quick to notice new guests waiting to be sere and quicker in general. Our room was super comfy, clean and cozy. We felt right at home. The only thing I would mention is that the shower handle was broken, but I’m sure they will get that fixed soon enough :) The beach is right there and the food served at Casa Cosón was super tasty! We highly recommend anyone to stay here :)

You'll love it here

Joel and his team were welcoming and friendly from the start. We stayed in the Mexican cabana, which was unique, wonderful, and very comfortable. The beds were especially great. The beach is one of best we have ever experienced--for walking, swimming, views, and cleanliness. The hotel provided an excellent beach area, with plenty of lounge chairs and shade available when needed. The attached restaurant served delicious food and the drinks were tasty. There are several sweet, apparently well-cared-for dogs at the hotel and we enjoyed their company and their playfulness on the beach.

We booked our stay at Casa Coson in orbitz for 2 nights and our reservation was for 4 people in 2 room/2 bathroom booking. When we arrived the front desk person made us wait an hour while he looked for a location for us to stay because he said that our original stay was unavailable due to a water leak and flood. He stated the new location was larger and better, but that was not true. It was smaller (1 room and 1 bath). It was not cleaned and covered in mold. The mildew smell was unbearable and because of the holes in the mosquito netting there were mosquitos and bugs everywhere. It had also not been cleaned (see pictures) and was covered in rat feces. The bath had a leak in the ceiling. We woke up feeling a little sick from the mildew smell. The next day at 5pm they moved us to the room we originally booked because they said it was fixed and cleaned. Again we noticed how dirty the place was even after the cleaning. The couch cushions and sheets were filthy, there was animal droppings (see photos) some from mice, rats, and lizards everywhere including on all the dishes. There were many holes on the window screens, the shower drain was clogged upstairs, the water smelled like sewer. We called the desk to take care of the drain but no one ever came. We had no towels, and the upstairs bed didn’t have any top sheet. They gave us one twin flat sheet. After killing hundreds of mosquitos, we were watching TV when a rat entered through a hole and ran across the beam in the room.
