I found the service welcoming and friendly in the mercados (markets) tendas (convenience stores) and Sodas (small restaurants). Photographers i recommend Dave & Dave's and Frogs Heaven.

The room was terrible. The amenities were in terrible condition. The pool table was atrocious. The shuttle smelled the driver had a prostitute in the back.

We stayed here to break up the drive between La Fortuna/Arenal and Tortuguero. It was a wonderful treat. We went white water rafting one day, and hiked La Selva the other day and then drove to catch the boat in La Pavona to get to Totuguero relaxed
