Top Largs Hotel Reviews

Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely hotel. Very comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious."

Glynhill Hotel

8/10 Good

"The room itself was perfectly fine, but what struck me as odd was not to have ANY powerpoints around the bed. Luckily I had brought an extension lead. My rating on the appearance of the hotel refers to the corridors upstairs which look a little tired. I've never had a problem with the payment made through hotels.com, until this hotel. The duty manager was very patient about the resolution, but it took me contacting hotels.com on the chat for the two of them to really speak to each other and resolve where the money was. I did not have to pay again. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the food was good, even if "Scottish Breakfast included" means just that - NB for continental travellers! I didn't use the bar. The location of Paisley is convenient for access to Glasgow, especially if you're in a car. Appreciated the free parking!"

Radisson RED Glasgow

10/10 Excellent

"We had a one night stay to see a show at the OVO which is literally across the road, so location is brilliant. The hotel is modern and clean. Our room was lovely, floor to ceiling windows with blackout curtains, the bed was a king (very comfortable) and the bathroom was a good size with a walk in shower. One of the Key things for me was that it was so quiet, no noise from traffic or other guests and we had a really good sleep. The buffet breakfast was good with a pretty good choice of hot foods and continental options. As we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, we wanted something to eat before heading to the show and, for convenience, would have liked to have eaten at the hotel, however it appears that the food/menu at the hotel restaurant is limited (only does pizza(?) which is absolutely fine if that’s all you fancy) but we decided to take a walk and find somewhere else for food. There are plenty of places around a 10-15 minute walk away from the hotel. Parking at the hotel was a little pricey at £25 for 24 hours but that appears to be around the standard these days for most large cities. There are other car parks nearby that you could research beforehand though. Staff were really nice on arrival and professional. Overall, I’d highly recommend the hotel and I’d definitely stay here again!"
