"Hotel C is a terrific hotel for access to the Arlanda Express. It is literally 10 steps away. It also is a close walk to Gamla Stan and there are a lot of great restaurants nearby. They have some fun games in the lobby, and the IceBar is hosted there as well. (They also have their own bar/restaurant which I did not go to.) The rooms are very basic. The breakfast is plentiful but does get crowded as this is a large hotel. You can't beat it for convenience, especially if you won't be spending much time in your room anyway!"
"I would literally go back to Sweden just to stay at this hotel again.
The room was extremely cozy and clean. The hotel itself is located in a convenient spot for exploring - Stockholm is very walkable, and T-Centralen is right around the corner if you want to hop on a train (or head to the airport).
I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, but I did go to the restaurant downstairs for dinner and it was delicious. It's a busy hotel with lots of people coming and going at all times, but I never once felt like that disrupted my stay."
"I would not recommend this hotel. The rooftop pool is heavily advertised throughout the website and promotional photos, creating the impression that it is included in the hotel facilities. However, only upon arrival was I informed that access to the pool is restricted to the spa and requires a significant additional fee. While there is a small note buried at the very end of the hotel description, this feels highly misleading and close to false advertising.
The hotel itself is large, modern, and well-designed, but the service experience was disappointing. When I checked out, I was told I could not leave my luggage in storage because another group had booked the entire hotel. I found this completely unreasonable, especially as luggage storage is a very basic service that travellers generally expect from a hotel of this standard. I have never encountered this situation before."
"The location is very convenient for travelers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is a bit worn in places but the lobby and restaurant are bright and spacious. My room was comfortable."
"The location is great, 5 minutes walk from the metro. The breakfast was also good, with a variety of cold and hot dishes available. The room was clean but a but rundown, eg. peeling paintwork, super scratched flooring. The bathroom was also clean. I had a single room with no windows which I found spacious enough for one person, but also it felt like being in custody."
Scenic forests, open picnic areas and stunning gardens on this rural islet today offer family fun, but also hide the ghastly history of its former prison.
