The only problem I had was that I didn’t get the room advertised on Expedia. Got a totally different room couldn’t change my cabin because they were completely booked. Other than that the faculty was great the kids had fun and def would go back.

Great camping place in Lancaster, PA

Very clean well maintained camping resort nessled in the woods in Lancaster, PA. Had a great time with our 5 kids at the pool, miniature golf, basketball, and tennis court! Great family vacation for the whole family!

Just Shy of Perfect

Great campground! We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom cabins. It was an older model but pretty comfy. There were 2 bedrooms with a bathroom in each bedroom. One of the bathrooms worked perfectly, one did not. The shower ran at a trickle and flushing the toilet was pretty much impossible but they came out and attempted to fix it right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground itself was very nice. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, arcade, hot tub, shuffle board, mini golf, scheduled activities. We didn't spend a lot of time at the campground since we were out enjoying the local attractions most days but what we saw of it was very nice. We would stay again but in a different/newer cabin this time.

Visiting the Amish in PA

We were greeted pleasantly upon check in at the campground. The grounds were very clean and well kept. We were a bit disappointed to find there was no WIFI except for a couple of "hot" spots located in the campground. Plus, an extra charge per day for Cable. As we were busy our whole stay we did not have time to utilize any of the amenities, however, (other than the pools), the store and most activities were not open because of the time of week. Although comfortable, clean and certainly met our needs, the cabin we were given could have used some updates. Our only complaint would be of the several cabins available during our stay the one (L1) they reserved for us had a huge green dumpster right in the front. It certainly wasn't a pleasant sight. Had it been a busy weekend, would not be a very pleasant smell, not to mention people dropping their trash in your front yard. Overall, we would stay again if we plan on returning to the area.

Camping nightmare

Checked in Friday at 4:15pm. Checked out on Saturday at 11:15. Initially staff was responsive. Pleasant upon check in. We rented a "cabin" which was a run down tiny trailer on the very edge of property, positioned on an embankment. Inside the cabin was peeling paint off of the appliances. The light switch in the bedroom was off the wall and mounted on some sort of framing and cracked. Initially we had no power. The cabin was not prepped for our visit. We had to go outside and turn the breaker on ourselves. Then the power kept surging. We turned on the ac units and they tripped the breakers....no power again. They came and replaced the ac unit. The deck was covered in black crap and not safe to be on. It was not attached and if you went near the railing the whole deck shifted forward and you felt like you were going too fall. We woke to an ant infestation. On the stove, sink, window and garbage can. On top of that, believe it or not, we also had a gypsy moth caterpillar infestation. The tree above us was loaded with there cocoons and they were dropping on us and our stuff. Gross. After 3 trips to office and waiting 3 hours we left. We couldn't sit outside because of caterpillars and couldn't stay inside with the hundreds of ants. Awful experience. The customer service was no better. The front desk woman said, "well you are camping in the country so what do you expect." Well, we are avid campers and can tell you we have never dealt with any of the issues above!

We arrived at 3:50pm and check in was at 4pm. Our room was not ready. Now check out is at 11am. Why would it not be ready. That gave them over four hours to clean and get ready. They do not have to change beds as this is a place where you bring your own linens, towels. So they told me to go ahead and look around the campground and come back around 4:30pm. So we did and came back went in still not ready. Now it is 4:35pm. Sitting in car. Getting a little mad as it is hot have a baby in the car along with kids getting anxious. I see one of the people from the resort walking in and I asked her when is checkin and she said 4pm she said why arent you checked in yet i said no she said let me go in and see what the hold up is. I was just getting ready to go back in building and the girl behind the counter came out and said cabin ready. Another person from resort, evidentally someone of authority maybe a manager, said she was gonna give us a thing of wood for our fire pit due to this inconvience. So I said thank you and we went on our way to our cabin. But by this time I had a very mad husband who wouldn't talk to me for the rest of the day or night even though it wasn't my fault but that is ok. Regardless of all this we had a pretty good time.

We stayed in cabin. Everything at resort was old and needed serious updating. Price was expensive for condition of cabin and activities. rv sites were decent but grass needed cutting. Pool needed cleaning. Location to lancaster was good and area around was very nice.

Outdoors great, cabin not so much!

The grounds are gorgeous, so clean and well kept. Both the outdoor and indoor pools are great! We were given one of the older cabins ( and by error a cabin that was too small for 4 adults )very tiny horrible beds,... Make sure you get one of the newer cabins and your stay will be great.We played shuffle board and golf and the staff was very nice. Our error, we should have complained when we saw the cabin.

Strange smell

When we got there I smelled something strange in the large bedroom and there was a moisture on the mattress. I wiped it down with a clorox wipe and it was yellow. The smell was similar to that of urine. It was late and we had a funetal in the morning so we didnt have time to tell the front office until we were leaving. They apoligized and said they have no idea how that could happen.

Have to bring your own bedding and towels

Staffs were so friendly, but the most important thing you need to know before you go is that you have to bring your own bedding sheets and towels for bathroom. Our family was surprised to find that there were no bedding and towels ast all in the cabin, but fortunately,Circle M provides us their stock sheets and blankets. Exept that, everything was good with that price. Nice outdoor pool, free mini golf and other activities, and nice place to be.

Fun family getaway

This was a nice family weekend getaway. We stayed in one of the smaller cabins (2 rooms, 1 with double one with bunk bed) Upon arrival, notice cabin was a bit chilly. Turned heat up and went to dinner. Came back from dinner and still cold. Contacted front desk and sent maintenance out immediately. Was unable to fix, but moved us to cabin right across from us. Plenty to do onsite.
