I enjoyed my stay in Puno and Kuntur Inn certainly helped with that. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. They helped organise a tour for a fair price. The room was clean and comfortable with a decent shower and hairdryer in the bathroom.
Antonio was so helpful and resourceful. The rooms were quaint and had everything that we needed. It was in walking distance to the main square. Overall for the price I would recommended the
Hotel.
The hotel had small rooms with no TV's. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The door was always locked behind you and you had to knock to get in so we felt very safe. It was close to the main square and tourist strip but at the top of a 3 block hill. If you are looking for a good price in a simple place I would recommend it.
Great service, good location only a few blocks down the hill to the square. Good breakfast. Nice people, even stored some of our bags overnight for us. Room was smallish, but two beds, clean and comfortable.
Trip to Lake Titikaka and we stayed here one night. They helped us book an overnight homestay on island upon our arrival, and then we returned for a second night. In between, they stored our excess baggage, and we even got the same room upon our return. Breakfast included eggs and fruit, etc. Smallish room, but quiet and comfortable. Just down the hill a couple blocks to the Plaza. Nice people. Would stay here again.
2 Nächte in einem sauberen und von den Besitzern sehr gepflegten Hotel, jederzeit hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, in guter Lage.

Nice Hotel but urge caution
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Its a family run hotel and they offered to pick us up from the bus station upon arrival. The owner advised us of the best places to eat and also arranged Sillistani and Lake Titicaca tours with local operators.
The hotel was one of the cleanest we stayed in in Peru and the breakfast was really nice.
The experience was soured when he organised our trip to Salar Uyuni through a tour company in La Paz called Confort Tours which is run by a friend of his. We were overcharged, outsourced to different tour company, our tour guide didn't have English (even though we paid for English speaker) and he then harassed us in our hotel in La Paz for 2 days upon our return to complete another tour with him. Avoid this company and its slick owner at all costs.
Very comfortable and clean. Picked us up at bus station. Breakfast was elaborate and made early for us because of our departure time. Location is great. It is a very short walk to cathedral and main plaza. Would recommend to others.
We had a quick, overnight stay in Puno. The Kuntur Inn was clean and safe, and centrally located. Livia and Antonio were very nice and quite helpful. They sent a car to get us from the train station, and told us how to get everywhere we needed to go. The breakfast buffet was very nice, and most rooms have a view of the lake.
This was not a fancy place, but it was clean and comfortable and a great value. I'd highly recommend it if you are staying in Puno and don't want to spend a fortune to do so.
Clean & comfortable, but pickup service unreliable
We stayed here on two separate occasions. The first time everything went well, we were picked up at the bus station and accompanied to the hotel. On the second occasion, however, despite an acknowledgement of our pickup request, we were left stranded at the bus station. Yes, taxis are cheap, but not always reliable. Other than that, our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast is simple, but ok.
The owner and his wife went out of his way to make my stay enjoyable. He was able to arrange a last minute trip to the islands at a good price.

Nice Basic Hotel, Good Service
We enjoyed our brief stay at the Kuntar Inn. The family that runs the place was extremely helpful in getting us all the information we needed for our trip. The rooms are small and basic but clean and great for the price. I definitly recommend Kuntar Inn

Cheap, probably, good for business travelers
Stayed here for one night. Worst hotel during our trip to Peru. Nothing special. Clean, but cheap. Very formal service. Checked in at 19:00, kicked out at 7:00. We do not have major complains, but it was huge contrast to friendly environment in rest of places.
Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen, sehr sauber, sehr freundliches Personal,Parkplatz für Selbstfahrer ist vorhanden und man kann auf Titicacasee schauen.
Both Antonio and Livia were exceptional hosts. We were met at the bus station, a lovely gesture and delivered to our spotlessly clean, airy, bright room. Our hosts were delightful and ensured all our needs and questions were catered for. The location is perfect, really quiet and safe. We will return and recommend.
The owners of the hotel Livia and Antonio took care of our every need from the moment we walked in the door. They provided us with tea for the altitude sickness and set us up with a very reasonable tour of the Uros Islands and the island of Taquile where we ate a wonderful meal of trout. They also gave us a wonderful continental breakfast each morning. They also got us a taxi to the bus station. Thank you Livia and Antonio for your kindness!!!
they go out of their way to help you, super friendly, great hotel
After reading all the positive reviews online how could we not stay here in Puno. The male owner Anthony was so helpful he even posted my post cards for me. Super friendly and so helpful with booking tours and giving you tips on the best resturants in town. He is very proud of his hotel in keeping it and all the walls clean in all rooms. I would definately recommend it to anyone. He was that kind we tipped him for the accomodation.
