"We used to come here all the time, but hadn’t been here for about 10 years. The check-in was great. Our flight was early so she got us checked in by 1 o’clock. It was sad that the place has not updated anything as far as their rooms. Pull out couch in living room has many stains and kind of gross looking. We put a sheet on it before we sat down. Balcony has a nice view, but we couldn’t go on it with bare feet because it was so filthy and sticky. The maintenance of this property used to be very clean, but it’s broken down. Besides the check-in woman, I found that the staff wasn’t that friendly, for instance, I was leaving on May 6 at 4 PM, so is typically might be the case. I went to the front desk on the afternoon of the fifth to ask for a late checkout of an hour. The Man at the desk started to look at the computer to see if it was possible, just done a younger girl who was standing behind the dust as well. Said the ownership does not allow late checkouts. I had never heard of such a thing especially on a Wednesday. I called in the morning and talked to a different person at the front desk and they gave me a late checkout. That told me employees sort of make their own rules when convenient for them. There’s plenty of places to go on Golf Drive. I’ll pick somewhere else next time."

"This was a very nice place. What we loved about this place: we didn't have to pay for daily parking, we didn't have to pay daily resort fee, we didn't have to pay daily amenities fees. We didn't get an outrageous bill when our stay was over. We love that it is in walking distance to John's Pass. Will I book this place again, you bet! Plus, the beach view is outstanding. "The photos make this place look better than it actually is. It’s old and very outdated. Smells musty. Shower tub was peeling and rusted. No vent in bathroom so it steams up really bad and everything gets wet. Queen beds are very small to be “queen” size and not comfortable. Staff is pretty rude. There’s a bar attached to the motel so a lot of guests get too drunk and are loud late at night. The A/C for your room is a window unit that’s fairly noisy. The pool is the nicest part but it is right outside most of the rooms so you smell the chlorine from your room. I do not recommend this place. There are better options for the same price or cheaper."

"The room was not very clean all the towels and blankets were stained and the towel rack in the restroom was broken and just put back on , the shower had stains like it was not cleaned right and the restroom was not cleaned as well just looked like they did a 2 min swipe over everything and moved on. Would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be coming back . I didn’t receive my deposit back because the floors were not mopped up but besides that everything was swept and picked up . Left the dirty towels in a corner. Kind of did the beds which I technically don’t have to but chose to because I wanted to be nice but definitely never again. No wonder it’s cheap next time I will pay more money for a better hotel ."

"We will be going back! They had everything in one place. We loved the pool. They have pretty much anything guests need at the beach. Chairs, towels, toys. Rooms are spotless and seem to have all been recently updated."

"I 1000% loved this place! First time here, and won’t be the last! The King-sized bed was so comfortable and the studio room was so convenient with a fully stocked kitchenette and full-size fridge! It truly felt like home, and I wish I could just sign a lease and move-in! The private deck overlooking the beach and Gulf of Mexico was my favorite spot, other than being on the beach 😁"
