Avoid this hotel. What is advertised is not what you get. I booked a Superior Room with a balcony, but was downgraded to a Standard Room by the pool. Management refused to acknowledge the discrepancy and was steadfast in denying a refund for the price difference. The amenities are a lie: there is no business center despite being advertised. The property is currently under active construction with loud noise throughout the day, and guests are forced to use a side door entry. While Expedia provided some credits, this hotel needs to be investigated for false advertising. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere until they actually provide the service they claim to offer.

It was a nice, the room was exactly like the picture. However, we would have loved to have something to press our clothes. The shower wasn’t completely clean there was stuff on the shower curtain and on the corner of the floor. Despite being under construction we didn’t mind the noises it was mainly in the front of the building or the first floor . Would love to see it when it is finished

To say my stay was pleasant and satisfying is a gross understatement. The staff in particular were nothing short of outstanding. They were very kind to me as I have been battling some health issues. They made sure I was very comfortable and made my stay so very relaxing and enjoyable. Andrea in particular treated me with profound kindness that I will never forget. And the hotel is so very very clean! The pool is clean: the attention to detail here at the Tropicql Palms is obvious. You guys make sure every want and need is met with a smile. I am sure I will be back to St Pete and here is where I will be hanging my hat. Thank you everyone here at the Tropicql Palms.

I stayed here on a Sat/Sun night. Parking was a little treacherous as the front part of the building is under construction and there are building materials stored in parking spaces with temporary fencing around them. My room was at the front half of the hotel seemingly next door to their construction project and was awoken at 7:30 both mornings with the noise of saws and trucks backing up. The rooms cleanliness left much to be desired as the shower still had 10-15 long hairs on the walls and scum on the shower curtain leading me to believe the rest of the room was also not kept up with. House keeping didn't make a visit while I was there so I had to go ask for fresh towels on my second night. There was no garbage can in the bathroom. The front desk staff were OK.

We had a great stay! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our flight was delayed and then cancelled. I called to let them know we were on our way and they were so kind. Yes, the hotel is under renovation, but it didn’t affect our stay in any way. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is currently under construction which maybe a bit alarming. However, our rooms were excellent. They were recently remodeled and was perfect for the duration of our stay. I am sure when the construction is over it will be a fantastic experience. The staff was warm and welcoming. I would stay again.

Rooms were just beautifully renovated. Absolutely adored the new designs! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even swapped my room so I could be next to who I was vacationing with. The only thing I would have to say that could improve just a tad. Was if the hotel also offered free breakfast for occupants.

Amazing value for the money! Our room was modern and large. Bed was comfortable and bedding was soft. Heater/AC unit was efficient and easy to operate. Desk staff was super friendly as were the cleaners. Parking was easy despite the construction. Ground floor appearance is not great but again, understandable amidst renovations. Happy to have free coffee in the am. Check in and out was fast and simple. Would absolutely stay again.

Booked room with a balcony, didn’t receive. Hair in shower upon arrival. Housekeeping removed trash daily but didn’t replenish toilet paper. Was told we needed to ask for the “full package” - since when is toilet paper an extra amenity? Pool looked nice; will likely be real nice once renovations complete.

Excellent.4 night stay. Located near different restaurants and gast stations Although they were still renovating , our room was an absolutely beauty. Julian and Brittney were so helpfull. Enjoyed the pool too. I was informed that in 8 months it will be all done with renovation. I know it will be even more beautifull.

I stayed for couple nights and was impressed by how nice my room was for the price. I wasn't able to check in my first night due to a flight cancelation and this did cause some confusion with their system, but the staff handled everything professionally. Did not use the pool but it looked pretty nice.

Loved it, and the room was amazing though the first floor was under construction that was not felt at all in the room that we stayed in. It was a beautiful decorative room and clean, and the staff was amazing!
