"I had a very pleasant stay at HOTEL emisia Tokyo Tachikawa. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and communication was smooth thanks to a translator device the staff had available. The staff were also very helpful in assisting with onsite parking. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice mix of traditional Japanese options as well as a good selection of items for international guests. Overall, a well-run hotel with great service, and I would gladly stay here again."

"The staff was especially helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and suited our party of 4 perfectly. We enjoyed the Japanese dinner (cooking part of our meal on the individual hot plates was different and fun) and breakfast. We liked having a choice of using indoor and outdoor onsen. We would definitely stay there again."

"The whole ryokan experience was great with only 2 things that needs to be improved. First being the in-room dinner service: the staff didn't mention that meal was being served as courses and we thought the initial portion served was the entire thing. The rice was missing so I had to check with the reception on this. It was confusing on both ends as receptionist mentioned that the staff would have informed us that dinner is served 3 courses but we were not aware. Food was great and delicious but do not expect to take your own sweet time to eat. Staff will clear it within 1 hour even if you have not finished eating. Second thing was that the bidet was not working! Receptionist was informed twice and they said they will check it out but nothing was fixed.. was honestly really disappointed in this. The payable private onsen wasn't anything spectacular, not worth the JPY 3,300 IMHO. "
