Manhattan Beach Lodge

"Manhattan Beach is very nostalgic for me. We’ve been going to Crosslake for the last 20 years. Manhattan Beach is iconic to those of us who travel to this area. The lodge itself is an old building but well taken care of. There’s not a ton of amenities on property. However, you’re right on the lake. It has a fantastic beach for “littles” and adults alike and the lawn provides an area to play or sit in the chairs to relax. You can’t beat the view for sunsets"
Pine Peaks Lodge & Suites

"The rooms and pool area were clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It was a quiet hotel had access to pool, hot tub, ice and vending machines. There was a nice restaurant and gift shop on the property with a gas station, bar and park all within walking distance."

"At first we were a little taken aback that there was no front desk clerk. But the owners texted us our individual door code which was also the same as our room code. They seemed to be very responsive as they replied to my “thank you”. That gave me some assurance that we could get a hold of someone, if needed. The room was updated and clean. Nice large screen tv, a good fridge, and comfy beds and pillows. Maybe I felt the carpet could’ve used replacing but everything was in overall excellent condition. We did not use the pool facilities or breakfast as we were visiting family in the area. It’s just a short drive to the grocery, walkable during the day. And another short drive to the downtown Nisswa area. Everything looked clean and bright! I’ll post some pics I took—forgot to take one of the room though! It was a pleasant stay & was within our budget. Would return again!"

"The place was beautiful and welcoming! However it was not clear that the standard rooms do not come with a fridge or microwave. That was INCREDIBLY inconvenient; please update this policy."
