「Rooms were super clean and staff was amazing!」

「As for a clean rooms yes it was clean and I want my room to be clean but as for the staff at night no help & rude our tv wouldn’t work I think if you pay for a room you should have a tv & we received no help we were told maintenance would help in the morning. what good is help in the morning when we are leaving. How about a new room? A working tv? Something other than we can help in the morning!」

「Staff was excellent---very informative and polite. Room was compact; perfect for the solo traveler like me because I could easily reach everything. I really liked the walk-in shower. More hotels should have these. And the full breakfast was excellent.」

「The Star on Spring was one of the prettiest places I have ever stayed! It smelled amazing. Every detail had been thought of, even the towels and hairdryers were top of the line! They made our anniversary trip so special. The area around the hotel is such a cute, up and coming place area. Lots to do within a few blocks. We will definitely be back and recommending this place to everyone we know! Thanks for a great weekend!」

「Great saltwater pool. A great deal of little issues. Staff seemed disconnected from the guests. The hotel needs more preventive maintenance and standards of cleanliness need to be evaluated for guest rooms. PVC glue and primer bottles with rusted lids sitting in pool area. Stains on bed skirt. I watched a gentleman trying to eat the continental breakfast. He obviously woke up late and needed it. The staff closed the curtains to the breakfast bar while the man was still in there trying to get...

「The first room I was given smelled like dirty feet and dog. I was told at first nothing they could do. Finally got another room but my daughter saw a small roach in the hallway and lady said it was an ant as if my kid didn't know the difference. I later killed a med roach in the room and the attendant gave me attitude and said it wasn't invested. If there is a baby size and med size then there is a colony and you have an issue. I left the hotel and stayed with family.」

「Very clean rooms, EXTREMELY quiet that was so nice. The staff was helpful, I had made mistakes on my reservation but they helpfully accommodated to resolve them. The breakfast buffet was very lovely, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruit. Room was clean and cool (I visited in summer) and dark. The only negative thing I would even have to come up with is they don't have the hot tub anymore, and if their pool is heated they need to turn it up a little in my opinion, haha!」

「The elevator smelled like marijuana, the room smelled like a locker room, huge stain on the carpet, rust in the tub, light on one side of the bed did not work, light on the mirror in bathroom did not work, huge tear in the shade. We were in 303.」
