NO HOT WATER! ? Could not shower. Carful don't step in the middle of the floor in the Kitchen because the floor would dip and sink. It's about to go! Also make sure you duck walking in the overhang on the porch is low, maybe 6’ 1’’. I hit my head twice, not a nice welcome. The area is nice. The walk to the stream is also nice. This cabin is a Frankenstein of a cabin. I seems like they grabbed leftover things from all over to make up the structure.

Very miss leading. Photos show larger cabin, when it was a small one that we were actually put into. This would have been fine had there been a working toilet, shower that got warmer than luke warm, and a bed that was softer than the ground. The smell of cat pee throughout the cabin and mildew in the bathroom didn’t make a 300$+ stay any better. Definitely don’t recommend. Wouldn’t go back unless the cabins actually had some minimal fixing up and cleaned to a higher standard.

The cabin was pretty outdated. Everything was just pretty dingy and needed replaced. The wallpaper around the toilet area is pretty gross. I’m pretty basic and just require a shower and a bed, my wife however was definitely not thrilled with the cleanliness or condition of the cabin. The electrical was functional, but definitely not professionally installed. But it works. The cabin across from us had a roof patch made from a twisted tea can. Funny and ingenuitive as it was, it’s just an example of the lack of actual upkeep. Again, if you just need a place to stay and easy on the wallet, it’s not BAD, but don’t expect much more than that.

When we drove in it was 12:30. The office door was locked. I knocked no answer. There was a list with my name and what room we were in so we found it and it was open. Beds were made and everything was clean so we put our stuff in the kitchen. A lady came rushing in saying you cant put your stuff in there until 3pm. We told her we had an atv ride scheduled at 1 and we would not be back until 5 or 6. She said we cant clean around your stuff. We had 1 suitcase and 2 totes. After a big fuss she jammed our 3 items on the bench seat to the kitchen table and said we'll ok. We came back and everything looked the same. Well in the morning she knocked on our door at 9:59 and said are you leaving. I said yes we were getting ready. I was in my pajamas. She said check out is at 10 am. There was nothing in the room that said 10am check out and maybe it says that on line but I really thought most check outs are at 11am. I said oh I didn't know and we would be out by 11. She said something like well no later. I went to the office to tell her we were leaving at 10:55 and again office door lock and no one there. I really wonder what they do between 10am and 3pm. They must be very busy. I would not recommend this place.

Older place but fitting for the area and all the side by sides and jeeps going out on the Alpine Loop. Had a lot of fun in town and the surrounding areas are breath taking.

Slightly better than a tent. The interior wall is also the exterior wall, so even though it’s your own cabin and you hear everything going on outside all night long. There is a little tiny, tiny tiny heater in the place. It has a refrigerator and a stove and a coffee maker but they look like they got them at various yard sales. Nowhere in the listing does it say you have to pack out your own trash and clean things like door knobs yourself the pamphlet even says there’s cleaning supplies available at the lodge which by the way was never open the whole time we were there. Thankfully, we were just there for an evening after a wedding and left early the next morning. if it cost half as much as it did, it still would’ve been too expensive.
