「The place was seriously so cute! Old style cozy home! Love the vouchers they gave us for restaurants in town and the bed was super comfortable! The only downside was the place wasn't super clean, the toilet wasn't washed and there were leftover shampoo bottles from previous guests.」

Tried to call office, and landline was in room but not connected, as though it was a nostalgic art piece to the room, no actual value to it, no possible way of hooking up either. I went to the office to get a different room because the only reason I rented the room was for the jacuzzi tub my front desk person tells me that all of the jacuzzi tubs you don't work. 「Fairly new hotel on the north side of Carlsbad. Rooms clean and comfortable, hot and cold breakfast items. Everything works, would definitely stay here again. However, if you want to be close to the Caverns, this is a little farther away.」

「To visit the caverns, we have to choose a hotel in Carlsbad. There was not much options out there. Everything was OK here, with an unfair price though. However I would assume there hardly is a better option around this area.」

「We had a great stay at the holiday inn Carlsbad. We were met right away with very friendly staff and a well kept lobby. Our room was clean and set up like you’d expect. We used the pool and hot tub and I was happy it was heated and clean.」

「Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was just a few cereals and some yogurt kind of underwhelming. Shower was a little dirty had to use a matt. Decent time for 2 nights.」

「This was an unexpected, unique property, which is something we love about road-tripping. Although smaller than most hotel rooms, it provided everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. The best part was the owner’s (Bonnie) hospitality. We enjoyed our conversation with her at breakfast, where she blessed us with homemade burritos (as well as other breakfast items/snacks for the road).」
