「Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...

「Toplocatie, idyllische locatie, supervriendelijk personeel. Wij hadden enkel pech dat onze kamer uitkeek op de achterkant van het lokale zwembad van La Clusaz, waar de luidruchtige generatoren 24/24u draaiden. Verder spijt dat we hier maar 1 nachtje als tussenstop waren.」
