"Fiumefreddo is an absolutely hidden Jen. It is as if you took a 500 year old town, frozen it in time, and didn’t tell anybody about it. You can walk this little town for hours and get lost in its mazes of ancient homes. Not many of them have been renovated, but, it’s slowly happening and hopefully continues to preserve this time capsule of a town. "Nice little hotel and great bakery. I was a little concerned when we drove up but don’t let the exterior deter you. They are doing some renovations but it did not impact our stay at all. We had three rooms in the renovated area. Excellent showers good water pressure excellent air-conditioning excellent bedding. Added to that they have a wonderful bakery downstairs with fresh croissants. "

"Abbiamo soggiornato negli appartamenti vicino al mare della struttura, molto comodi se si vuole trascorrere qualche giorno sulla vicina spiaggia molto comoda e bella come mare. Gli appartamenti sono nella norma all'interno di una palazzina a disposizione dell'hotel. Questi sono comodi e buoni per trascorrere qualche notte nei pressi di Amantea. "Location close to beach, and old/new town center. Lots of restaurants nearby. Free private underground parking. Room clean and comfortable with fridge and safety deposit box. Property well kept with a nice large pool. Breakfast was plentiful with croissants, cakes, yogurt, bread, cold cuts, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, and juice. Staff friendly and helpful."

Awesome hotel with a great chef!
"Loved my experience with the hotel. Got in late. They took my passport and handed me a key. I arrived late and looked tired. Next morning breakfast had ended sooner than anticipated but the staff quickly offered to let me take from the buffet and sit down. Giordano(the chef) got wind of what had happened and stepped in to make cappuccinos and a cheese platters and offered lots of advice on the area and the areas I would be visiting. I also briefly met the owner who owns the hotel and iGreco wine and olive oil. They gave me samples. They were friendly and welcoming which I have found some Italians are not so much. Overall just a great experience. "
