"Very cute place with great pool area and restaurant. The staff over there are absolutely great! There's a direct access through the restaurant's stairs to the beach which is nice. We stayed in the wooden bungalow, which is not in a great condition, a bit small and not so good facilities (bathroom, crack in the main door that insects can go through and more) We would have taken the normal rooms which seems pretty good. "The Baan Manali is an excellent resort for the price. It's on a lovely stretch of beach, they serve up amazing food and drinks, wifi is excellent and staff are very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but this adds to the charm of the resort. You won't find many good restaurants nearby, but this is the case in most areas and a scooter hire is almost essential in Koh Phangan if you want to explore the island and restaurants."
