「I am a repeat visitor to Pontac. A lovely place to spend time at, especially outside on the stoep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Paarl. Definite value for money. The only area for improvement would be breakfast, it is okay, but could use some attention.」

「Lovely high spec cottage. Clean and new interiors. A romantic stay for couples but we had a three year old! Peaceful and quiet location. A short drive to shops and not too far to some good vineyards. Breakfast was quite nice but would be good to have a helpful option. My daughter loved the trampoline and small playground. Felt like a safe location. I’d recommend taking the hotel up on their offer of starting the hot tub for arrival as I couldn’t manage it!」

「Absolutely amazing safaris. Highly recommend staying and doing at least the horse riding to get up close to the giraffes. Saw all the animals multiple times, cant complain about how close and often you see the animals. Each safari was unique and special. Also seeing the elephants and baboons outside our lodge on a morning was amazing. Lots to do and keep you busy between. Food, views, service, knowledge, wildlife were second to none.
