This is one of the best five star hotels in all El Salvador. I went for my anniversary and the staff made sure we tried special and offered arrangements and a dessert. The location is beautiful beautiful! Everything about this place is perfect! I would go again. The food at NAMMU is also delicious. Staff was attentive and helpful.

Room was clean. No safe im room. Close the bathroom door when taking showers to keep heat inside. Place is beautiful. Complimentary breakfast with 3 options. Yes the shower water is a little salty and you’ll smell a little bit of sewage or lake. So what you in El Salvador stop being a complainer. It’s a beautiful hotel. Beach is dirty but again it’s what you make of if.

The facilities are new & have a very nice modern feel. However, the rooms are lacking because there is no mini fridge, no chairs, no table, no hangers to hang clothes & no iron for those of us who would like to iron our own clothing. The pools are a little weird because they have these huge planters in the middle of them which really don’t allow for you to swim freely. Another issue I have is that the big pool side beds that provide shade and relaxation get taken by the people who pay for day passes and not the people who actually pay to stay at the resort overnight. The breakfast was just OK. They only had scrambled eggs with pork sausage in them and I don’t eat pork, and when I requested to have another type of egg, the lady told me to eat pancakes . Finally, a gentleman said that they could make eggs for us on the side, but my husband was told that all he could get was 2 eggs. It’s a buffet style, but it’s not an all you can eat buffet. Don’t get me wrong, we don’t eat a lot, but we felt that they were very stingy with the portions. The property is on the bay side, so in order to get to the beach you have to walk through Bahia del Sol Resort. We thought that it would be nice because it’s supposed to be a prestigious resort, but it was really a hot mess. It was dirty & it was overcrowded with a lot of drunk people. Overall Astra is a nice place to relax & the food from the main restaurant for lunch and dinner is gourmet & excellent. They just need to improve a few things

El personal fue amable... Consideramos que limitar el tiempo a las 10:00 pm, para quedarse en las sillas fuera del Restaurant (lado del estero) es una limitación... Celebrábamos Aniversario y en las peticiones estaba un ramo de flores en la cena, lo que se ignoró. Había solicitado habitación en planta baja y me mandaban a la alta, pero hubo rectificación... Solo se necesita un poco más de entrenamiento en los detalles. (En otros países son muy creativos en los detalles )... Siempre GRACIAS.. por las atenciones....

Terrible. Mi cuarto se inmundo por una filtración y mi ropa se mojo. La comida descompuesta si bien es cierto me la cambiaron y no la cobraron. Fatal toda la experiencia en este hotel. Perdi la otra noche reservada por que no tenia ropa.
