Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, wonderful free breakfast buffet each morning. The hotel is close to many area attractions and hot springs resorts. The heated thermal pool and swim up bar was very enjoyable. Melena at the pool bar made great drinks and always had a friendly smile.his was my first visit to Costa Rica but most definitely not be my last!

Everything about the stay was wonderful! Delicious breakfast, the most friendly staff, Marlo especially was wonderful to talk to at the bar! Definitely would go back again! The only thing we wished was in our bungalow room there was no mini fridge to hold our leftover foods from dinners or our water-bottles cold! But everything else was amazing! 10/10!!!

What a perfect natural oasis with spacious beautifully situated bungalow style accommodation and an open air restaraunt looking out on the stunning Arenal Volcano. Sloths , toucans and other wildlife right on our doorstep. Set well back from the main road. Quiet and peaceful. We loved it.

Loved our stay at Hotel Mountain Paradise! The place is beautiful, with amazing views of Arenal Volcano right from the doorstep, and beautiful rainforest all around. And all the animals around! Our bungalow was spacious, clean, and felt very private. The staff was friendly and always happy to help - they even helped us out with the travel crib for our little one. The hot pools was a great bonus and perfect for relaxing after a day out, or even during the rain. Would definitely stay here again—highly recommend if you’re visiting La Fortuna!

We had a very nice stay. I would go back. If you have mobility issues the cottages are uphill a bit but you can take a ride in a golf cart. WiFi in the back cottages was spotty but I think that is common. The view was amazing and our kiddos enjoyed the unique shower.
