Great location in La Fortuna. Close to restaurants and shops and access to all tours. Lovely grounds with beautiful trees and flowers, plenty of birds and wildlife. Rooms a little dated but functional and clean. Breakfast a little sparse so was only aspect that let it down. However would certainly recommend.

Un hotel pequeño y coqueto. Su estructura y áreas verdes son ideales para un descanso en medio de las diferentes actividades que hay para conocer la zona. We had a 3 night stay, and overall it was very good. The house keeping staff were amazing, the restaurant staff however did not welcome guests or give the impression that they wanted to be there. The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. The building and surroundings are beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay at Monte Real. It was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere to return to after a day of adventure. The room was clean. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the location of the restaurant, beside the river that runs behind the property. Staff were very friendly and professional. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in La Fortuna at a reasonable price.
