"Can't say enough good things about the property but specifically the owners. They were kind, attentive and friendly. Made us feel special. This was the perfect place for us to stay as it was exactly halfway between Santander and the house we're renovating in the area. Highly recommended and will use this hotel as overflow property when multiple family and friends come to visit but don't all fit in our house.😂"

"This hotel was an overnight stop off between the coast of Asturias and Rioja. It was very affordable. It did not have the charm of the old buildings but everything we could wish for was there. The food was cheap and very good. The breakfast was enjoyable. The service was good. No complaints. Great Value for money"

"The posada was a comfortable place offering a good breakfast. The location was ideal for us exploring Cantabria. The staff were helpful and friendly, and via Google Translate, we were given good recommendations (and help with booking) on places to eat, places to visit/walks etc. As it’s name implies, it is set in a small village, so having a car is ideal, although the train station is just opposite. Overall, good value and enjoyable stay."

"Lovely hotel. Our room had a little balcony with a great view over the water. Nice foyer sitting area with a pellet burning stove. There is an attached traditional bar and restaurant serving good cold dishes, but no hot meals. Excellent selection of cured meats and cheeses and their own label wine. Very good value."

"La casa roja, que es solo una parte de la casa, pues se comparte con la casa azul, es oscura en la planta de abajo, donde solo hay 2 pequeñas ventanas.
