Our stay was for one night before our boat back to England, absolutely love this place easy to find very clean good parking, staff could be a little more helpful but on the whole very good highly recommend El Carloto

Delightful hotel and bar

Lovely hotel. Our room had a little balcony with a great view over the water. Nice foyer sitting area with a pellet burning stove. There is an attached traditional bar and restaurant serving good cold dishes, but no hot meals. Excellent selection of cured meats and cheeses and their own label wine. Very good value.

Fantastic view, good value, moderate service.

There's an amazing view from the room and from the shared sun room, which was well heated for our Feb visit. It's very good value as well. Minor quibble is the service - key just handed to me wordlessly, and on leaving I just left the key on bar when I couldn't attract any attention. Also bear in mind that there's no breakfast and the evening food is cold meats / cheese & bread. May be different in season.

Lakeside stopover on route to ferry.

This was a convenient functional stop for a Bilbao ferry the next morning. (Approx 2hrs) The guesthouse adjacent to the bar/cafe was warm and clean, well kept no-frills accommodation and served the purpose. There’s an ample parking area next to the bar & guesthouse when you turn off the main road, although it is not private. A first floor seating area in the guesthouse with a tv / pellet heater gives nice views over the lake but as weather was lovely we just sat outside the bar to see the sunset. The bar food offering comprises meat / cheese platters and some other tapas (anchovies, asparagus , mussels were also listed) and is available until 10pm but for a full meal there are some other restaurants around the lakeside area. Breakfast drinks/ pastries were available in the bar as we departed but we didn’t have time to try it.

Eating in the shop was an experience! The staff were great, but the platter of meats was a bit overwhelming! Suggest you order a small one for your table, because the quantity is likely more than enough for two! Wonderful quality! You can always order more!

Mooi uitzicht, goede bedden. Schoon. Douche is goed. Restaurant erbij is van eenvoudig maar goede kwaliteit. Alle Spanjaarden uit de omtrek komen hier eten.

Desde el primer momento fueron muy amables y atentos con nosotros. Las habitaciones estaban muy bien equipadas, con hasta una ducha totalmente nueva y espaciosa. Las vistas son muy agradables al estanco del Ebro. Si tuviéramos que decir algún inconveniente sería; el tema de los mosquitos, ya que al estar en un entorno natural y al lado del lago hace que haya mucha cantidad de ellos, con lo cual estaría bien que tuvieran mosquiteras; pese a ello se lo comentamos y nos dieron solución rápida con un esprai. ¡Muy contentos!

La struttura è valida. Il Wi Fi è assente, il telefono ha poca connessione. C'era la festa di paese e la strada per raggiungere la nostra struttura era chiusa, nessuno ci ha informato di ciò, ci hanno aiutato dei passanti e ci hanno accompagnato in una loro altra struttura. UDopo fatto il check in il personale della struttura non raggiungibile ci cercava ignorando che fossimo in un' altra stanza. È stato difficile comunicare con le due strutture pee la mancanza di segnale telefonico. Disorganizzati.
