2/10 Terrible

"The building is far more run down than it appears in the photos making this a very overpriced Marriott. The only thing it has going for it is location. Building needs serious maintenance. The refrigerator in our room didn't even fit properly inside the cabinet so one of the doors was always pushed out and open. The room smelled like mold. Fire alarm went off at 1230 in the morning so we had to stand outside with our kids and all hotel guests for an hour with very little explanation or engagement from hotel staff."

"I definitely do not recommend this place. We got her 20 minutes before 3pm and was inform i was going to be charge $22 for early check in. I decided to wait out does 20 minutes by the time 3pm got here there was a line to check in. We got out room 3:20pm. The room are good size. We didn't have a remote control for the TV. As we called it in they send some with a control that did not work. They said it was nothing that they could do about it. They next day Mind you check out is at 11AM. House keeping knocking at our door at 10:15 AM REALLY THIS PLACE CANT ALLOW YOU TO CHECK IN A FEW MINUTES EARLY BUT KNOCKING BEFORE YOUR TIME IS RIDICULOUS"

"Constant noise from landscaping crew. Was never notified that they would be trimming trees all day long and running a wood chipper. Woman at front desk said room was quiet but was absolutely miserable. Also woman in 217 had a dog that was constantly barking whenever someone walked by room and again no help from front desk. Stay here if nothing else is available in area, terrible service and clientele ."

"We stayed here for a night. It was nice and quiet. The pool was nice for the kids and it was right on the beach. The front staff were less than helpful, however , the cleaning staff were very nice and friendly. The rooms were nice with a balcony overlooking the water. There was several restaurants within walking distance."

"Room was clean and updated, but some of the fixtures were loose (toilet was wiggly, the plate thingy that held the shower faucet was wiggly). I am not a fan of firm or hard beds, but if you are, bed is fine. I did like the amount of pillows. The a/c worked well, was a tad noisy. I liked that there was a lot of greenery. I did not like the free breakfast, the coffee was really weak and the food was meh."

"The room smelled and was musty. The carpets were dirty and could use cleaning. The hotel was not quiet and you could hear traffic outside. The train passes by and blows the horn all night long. To top it off, there was a roach that I had to kill crawling on the wall."
