"Avoid this property if you are a cyclist. The owner does not allow bikes in the rooms - even if they are packed in a box (he has a big sign in the lobby). He claims the local crime is low, so you can just keep your expensive bike in your car. The property states free parking on the premises, but only has 6-7 parking spaces for 20+ rooms. The owner refers you to free parking lots that are blocks away (but have no spaces available), so you are forced to pay for parking. Will definitely not be...

"It is a nice and pleasant 3-star hotel near the center of Briancon. There is a restaurant attached which has good hamburgers--it is a place for eating after a day hiking or skiing, rather than for an elegant meal. Breakfast was great--fresh oranges and a squeezer, and they had bigger plates than I'm used to--also sized for hungry active people. The staff were friendly."
