「The hotel is perched on a mountain side overlooking the Whales Tale of Uvita. There is an animal preserve within walking distance that provided an excellent opportunity to learn about Costa Rica's incredible animal life. The staff were wonderful - always smiling and willing to assist in any way.」

「Wish they were better communication, along with the rest of the staff. The electricity shut out the power, which was blackout for most of my stay which was out of the control anyone. Then, I came during raining season which was pretty horrible with finding activity to do. Especially, where I stayed at it was more towards the country side than anything let’s say more relaxing and peaceful than anything. Overall, I enjoyed my stay made the most of it.」

I did not realize that the rooms did not have A/C, so things were hot the first night (reception closed at 8:00), but they were able to get me another fan the second night l, which made things better. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay which included access to a local swimming hole which was very refreshing. The restaurant was the most expensive meal we had in Costa Rica and to be honest, the food was not bad, but not good. Definitely...
