Stay only if u want to be left alone w/o any help
Stay only if you want Zero attention and be left on your own. Wasn't expected not to have lift and no cleaning. Will be better if no cleaning and there is at least a magic clean mop so we can clean the floor on our own. Stayed for 5days 4 nights and only briefly saw the reception once during check in and once in the 2nd morning. Subsequently, nobody can be seen even if its during the official timing of 9am to 5pm as stated. Curtain was with spider eggs

This guesthouse is spacious for 3 of us, clean and very comfortable. However, the reception does not seem to be there during night time and we had quite a bit of an issue trying to check in since the phone that was supposedly there to call was not at its place. Quite confusing and it will not help non-english/non-japanese speaker either.

This is a really nice place to stay - the corridors look like a jail cell block but the rooms are terrific - lots of room, great cooking facilities, shower and toilet plus washing machine. it's a quiet spot, right next door to a large temple. Really close to Kyoto Station.

Good accommodation overall.
Good price, good size, clean and good amenities. Walking distance to the more built up shopping areas and train station. Only minor issues our unit had was all the pillows were very hard and the air conditioner didnt work very well.

Loved our accommodation, was good to have kitchen facilities as we found breakfast one of the hardest meals to find. Very clean and tidy, easy to locate, not too far away from each district or to the train station. Hassle free accomodation 😁

Perfect 3 person room!
Close to Kyoto Station (5-10min). Stayed in the 2 beds and futon room. Nothing bad to say. Everything was perfect. Check-in and check-out was easy and staff was very helpful. No room service but enough towels and spare sheets were provided at our arrival for the entire week we stayed there.

Nice guest house with self check-in and self check out. -- Didn't get a chance to see any staffs since we went out early and come back late:). Not far from the train station. Really like the laundry facility, which very helps especially during the hot summer.

Clean convenient
The Guesthouse is perfect for me and my friend. It has all facilities travelers need - comfortable beds and bedding, desktop computer and fast wifi, kitchenette, laundry facility and clean bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic - so near a beautiful public garden, temples and shopping places, and yet very quiet. We will definitely stay here again in future.

Apartment rental near Kyoto station
We stayed in a deluxe studio (room 101) had a good experience at Villa Court Karasuma Nanajo. It was clean and spacious for a family of four with a convenient washing machine and PC. Self check-in was convenient and easy especially since we came in the evening. There is a closet and a bar to hang clothes but insufficient hangers. We enjoyed the separate rooms for the fantastic bidet toilet and shower/tub combination. The shower/tub room was also a fantastic drying room for washed clothes. The only negative was that we frequently heard walking/shaking noises overhead etc that would vibrate into our room. Great location, close to Kyoto station. The area is very quiet. There are also bus stops close by as well.

Great Guesthouse
Very nice, super spacious, and pretty close to Kyoto Station. There was a pamphlet that explained all the appliance functions in English, which was very useful. The staff was friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend!

Worst hotel I ever experienced in my ilfe
Extremely difficult to find the place Taxi driver cannot talked to hotel because they placed the phone to answering machine There was no night no sign address not clear I asked for two beds in my booking but only one bed in the room They said I need to pay more for room for three persons I stayed 6 nights no cleaning no bed arrangement No service at all They only worked from 9 to 5 like people working in government I paid USD200 per night It was misleading advertisement which they put picture with two beds Could you ask hotel to refund part of charges to me as compensation? I am going to file complain to Japan Tourism Dept.

We stayed in a room with 3 beds (the third bed is converted from a pull-out sofa). The beds are comfortable except the 3rd bed. The room is of reasonable size with its own fridge, stove and washing machine. Location is 10-15 minutes with luggage from Kyoto Station (less than 1000Yen by taxi). Quiet neighbourhood.

교토역에서 도보 10분정도 떨어진 외진 곳이지만 2인기준 4박에 18만원정도 들었습니다. 숙박비가 저렴한대신 숙소 로비를 9시부터 17시까지만 운영해서 직원을 보기는 어렵고 자율적으로 이용하면 됩니다. 세면용품이나 수건 등은 셀프로 가져다쓰면되고 풀옵션원룸하고 비슷한 느낌입니다. 냉장고,가스렌지,싱크대,전자렌지,히터겸에어컨,세탁기,티비,테이블 및 의자가 있습니다. 요리도 할수있고 빨래도 할수있습니다. 요리에 필요한 주방도구 500엔에 대여도 해주고 빨레세제 100엔에 구매가능하니 굳이 가져가지 않아도 됩니다. 숙박비가 너무 저렴해서 반신반의하며 예약했는데 굉장히 만족했습니다.

酒店設施非常棒，環境整潔幹淨天氣寒冷洗澡有暖氣，洗完衣服還可以幹燥，去京都站要走十幾分鍾，步行去清水寺走40分鐘，下次有機會再去京都還會再訂這間酒店。

誰も対応せず建物にすら入れない
誰も対応せず建物に入れない。ホテルズドットコム経由で問い合わせても、理由がわからずホテルズドットコム側も困惑していたようだ。 20分後にようやく担当者が登場するも、お詫びの一つもない。施設が施設だけにサービスに期待はしていないが、建物には入れないのは論外。 夕食を買いに出たら、別の顧客が同じように建物に入れず困っており、自分の運が悪かったのではなく構造的な問題があるのだと考えられる。 ホテルズドットコムのカスタマーセンターと英語で話したい、という希望でもなければ回避を推奨。正直宿泊費を払うことすら拒否したいぐらいのレベルであった。 The worst hotel i experienced. we couldn't enter the hotel for a long time because no one responded and accomodated. Additionally, I witnessed the another party were in trouble as well. Not only us couldn't step into the hotel. You should take the other option you have or avoid to stay here if you enjoy your stay in Kyoto or Japan.

très bon séjour
arrivée autonome pour cet hébergement très bien situé , près de la gare de Kyoto et extrêmement calme. un petit stress de ne pas trouver nos valises à l'arrivée, mais qui a été réglé rapidement et efficacement, merci appartement spacieux et bien équipé, sauf la cuisine : seules étaient fournis 2 verres.

Petit appartement pour 3 personnes correctement équipé sans plus et au calme. L'ensemble est fonctionnel mais vraiment pas "cosy"; par exemple, il n'y a pas de lampe de chevet et seulement un éclairage cru au plafond. Le personnel est gentil et fait ce qu'il peut pour faciliter le séjour. Signalons une curiosité : la mini télévision dans la salle de bain, au dessus de la baignoire...
