We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was so great and took care of our every need. The Breakfast was outstanding. The rooftop pool and lounge had beautiful views. We definitely will be back.

The MAAKA is an excellent hotel just 30 feet from Kuta Beach. Staff are very friendly and amenities are excellent.

Staff were amazing and always helpful and polite. The Swagger Suites are a great room to stay in with plenty of space. The only issue we had was the ac didn't work on the last night and day of our stay. Our whole level was affected. The staff offered us another air conditoned room in addition to our existing room. Stay here and you won't be disapppointed!

Amazing hotel and staff. However there was an event on when I stayed which kept me awake both nights I stayed. Loud music from the top floor which vibrated my room. Loud enough to sing along to the songs that were playing. Came away from my stay exhausted.

The hotel is nice, and the staff was very nice. But the rooms on the 5th floor can be very noisy because of the music on the rooftop just above, especially if there's a party.

Heading to Kuta? Well, if you like a surprisingly warm welcome from a relaxed yet professional team of staff in this new concept boutique hotel, you will be impressed. From the efficient check-in, to the clean and comfortable room with space, great bed, and good shower… the Mamaka keeps giving… breakfast was delightful and can be eaten in either the first or second floor restaurant. Head to the roof top for a visually stunning restaurant, pool and cabana areas overlooking Kuta Beach (great sunset spot). You can dance the night away or enjoy a terrific pizza…. Marmarka just keeps giving… the attention to detail in this arty, fun hotel has to be seen to be fully appreciated. There is also a spa, surf school and more… don’t take my word for it - just book, it really is worth it!

Very friendly staff. Very clean with great attention to detail. Location fantastic and a great area to walk around with the beach across the road and a shopping centre super close by. Would definitely stay here again. Have been to Bali lots of times and This is the best place I have stayed at.

This is a modern beach front hotel with beautiful sea views and roof top pool. ( it was very clean and well maintained) Staff were friendly. Double service to rooms to check if all was ok each day. The laundry facilities were good . Breakfast was good but not buffet , off there bar menu, you had i juice and coffee/tea with your breakfast. We had garden view room, and would not book again, small area and over looked. Rooms were nice ! But ours a bit dark inside and no full length mirror or wall mirror in ours to do hair and make-up . Not sure if they are all the same though. ,Dj in hotel was great played through out the day. Massage at hotel was good and matched prices around our hotel. Overall a lovely place to be...

Stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. Pro : friendly and helpful staff, pet friendly (they have a VIP pooch which gives your a dog bed, some dog snacks and bowl for food and water), fast respond for any requests Need improvement : average food, thin wall (you could hear the foot steps above you if you’re on lower ground and the other room voices) Would stay here again but most probably will take the upper floor.

Great location and amenities
The hotel is right across from the beach which is awesome. From the roof top bar you can watch sunset. The room was spacious with a nice couch that overlooked the ocean. The welcome bag of goodies was so much fun. Also love that they have nice, free washers and dryers and detergent. Only wish there was some space that didn’t always have music playing.

We had an excellent stay in a Swagger Suite for four nights. Really worth paying for the upgrade. The suites are located at the front of the property. We started in 305 which wasn’t great because you have no view (just a roof) then they moved us to 503. Wow wow wow. The view is stunning. The room is gorgeous. The only downfall for the front rooms is the noise. There was cleaning up with a dozer out the front that started at 1am and went through until 7am. This is the second stay at this hotel in a matter of a couple of months. The pool and roof top bar and restaurant is great. Awesome vibe. Really enjoyed Okky DJ music. The staff are really helpful. Big shout out to Geeta the front office manager. We had a few hiccups and she stepped in and sorted everything out with no problems. This place is the perfect location just across the the road from the beach. Convenience store is right next door. Easy to get a Blue Bird. There is something that I would like to see happen. The menu in both down stairs and upstairs is not fantastic. I am not a fussy eater by any means (don’t do eggs, lamb or pork but that’s about it) The menu is not accomodating to normal eaters. The chefs will not change anything either ( especially pizzas) Breakfast is mainly eggs in everything, only beef bacon. And then some odd dishes us aussies would say. Please add some normal food to the menu. To end off the coffee is good. We will be back in a few months again and hope to stay here again. Thank you Mamaka

1. Music was too loud. Also until I nade a complainant you shouldn't have music in corridors playing before 7am. People are trying to sleep. 2. Food is inconsistent and not very good. Couldn't even get some decent toast. They would give you bread chargrilled. 3. Hotel run out of juices while we were there for two days. 4. Poolarea has many lifted tiles 5. Some staff need to speak english better. 6. Sheets in room need changing i slept in my all week. 7. One lift was only working. It took for ever to get from floor to floor. Staff must not use lift. 8. Air conditioning in room has a mind of it's own. Woukd turn off and turn on, 9. Must do areas of non smoking. 10. Food needs improving and more variety. 11. Considering pool area was not that busy, i always had to get up to go and irder food or drinks. Would not stay here again

This hotel is in great condition. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. This was the most relaxing week I have had. From the fantastic breakfast in the morning to enjoying cocktails on the roof by the pool watching the sun go down- we just had the best time. I’m definitely going back!

Super convenient and friendly hotel
Overall experience in this hotel is excellent. Staffs are very friendly and on time. Free laundry is killing point! considering sea activities and roof top swimming pool. Cons are food and noise. variety of food and presentation are good. but they are not that delicious than they look. I hope this can be improved later. the wall seem to be very thin, so you can hear singing or crying from room right next to you (but not from corridor).

This is my fourth stay at a different Ovolo location and they are always wonderful. The staff here was exceptional - from check in to housekeeping to wait staff. The rooms were so lovely and you can’t beat the location. The pool area is really comfortable and lots of room. I also have to say the food was delicious!
