We enjoyed our stay. Great staff and service. Very clean and a good dinner buffet. The hotel is a bit of a hike uphill. Google maps might tell you to approach from the right, go behind the hotel and come around to the entrance. This route has a bunch of uneven steps and is somewhat steep. It’s better to approach from the left side up a paved road with an even incline.
One night was definitely not enough! Clean room, great amenities, a wide variety of delicious buffet options, and three relaxing hot springs. I did notice a comment about one of the baths, which I understand, but the water quality was still excellent and very soothing.
Special thanks to Mr. Kakumoto for his friendliness and exceptional service truly went above and beyond!! I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back in town.
Nice hotel with very nice buffet dinner and breakfast. However, reception staff were not so friendly and did not explain properly to us about the usage of the onsen facilities.
Me and my family had a lovley stay here, however I so have one complaint. The inages showed the hotel being right next to the yubatake place, but it was actually a bit of a walk from there. They sid provide a
Great buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. I left my jacket at the previous hotel and the front desk lady was very helpful and called the hotel for me. And I got my jacket back! Thank you.
It's an older hotel that has a new owner and new name. The rooms are basic but clean and nice. Close to the main hot spring area and shopping lanes thanks to a back entrance. No early check in but the rooms were ready right at 3pm.
Hotel has been renovated, the rate included breakfast and dinner and surprisingly the quality of food is good. 3 Onsen are quite small but doesn’t matter. Hotel guests can visit other 2 sister hotels onsen for free. Impressed by the restaurant staff, they are very attentive and keep the place clean and tidy, they have a good time, thank you!

Good buffet but no shuttle to the bus station
Property is about 10 mins walk from the Bus station and Hotel does not provide shuttle to and fro, hence it is inconvenient to pull fhe luggage during winter time to the hotel. The back door of the hotel helps for quick access to the Yubate. Morning and Dinner buffet offer a very good spread but there is no need to book half board for more than 1 night as menus are largely the same.
Stayed 5 nights with half board, delicious food with many food choices but 95% same food every meal, not recommend for long stay guess. Awful onsen facilities, small locker, and limited space both in changing room and shower room. Provides free ramen for night food, no free drink in common area.
The walk to the hotel from the Kusatsu bus station is not a mere 8-10mins or so, esp with luggage in tow and that it’s a bit steep to get to this hotel. Definitely not for older folks!! Didnt like that we also couldnt prearrange for taxi service ahead of time on our way back to Tokyo as we did not want to catch the bus again. One staff seemed a bit uncertain and hesitant about it, so left a bit disappointed. Food was wonderful though, for both breakfast and dinner. The use the local ingredients in season and each dish was incredibly tasty! The 3 onsens on the property were wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed!
I was surprised with how new the hotel and the facilities are. We stayed in the ‘East Building’ the room is very neat and well heated. The hotel has 3 onsen baths which were all of very high standard. The breakfast and dinner were amazing, a good selection of Japanese food like tempura, gyodon, but international menu was available, with salads, pasta etc. It also had a white chocolate fountain which was quite fun. The hotel has a backdoor which leads to the Yabetake with a short 5 min walk. The yukata can be borrowed from the lobby and umbrellas are available for going outside. There is also late night ramen, but only served for a small window of time at night, and unfortunately we were not able to try.
Easy to go to skying resort(walking distance about 15mins).
There was shortcut to walk to yubatake and all local shops.
They give us two other hotspring pass to visit.
Buffet breakfast and dinner was great.
Nice staff. Room is clean and hotsprings were amazing.
Things may improve.
We hoped they provice a shuttle bus to pickup and dropoff between bus ststion to hotel.
Hoped that buffet menue is changed every day(we stayed for three nights).
Room is pretty small and can hear neighbours voice specially night time.
Not enough elevators and very slow.
Overall we enjoyed spending time at the hotel. Thank you
Overall, it was supposed to be a nice place with onsens inside. The water composition is really good. Breakfast and dinner also contain a variety of healthy food.
However, the hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. It's disgusting! If you are such idiots that you put a smoking room right in front of the health pools, then take care to make a good exhaust hood and doors that will not let this disgusting smell through! We felt this stench on the entire floor, in the onsens and even in our room. Although we made a request for a non-smoking room. Also in this app I paid for all sorts of additional taxes, but upon checkout we were presented with another additional bill, saying that it was a tax for the onsens. Not a word was said about this either in the hotel description or upon check-in. Total disgusting.
