Property was very close in proximity to all the major cultural heritage sites — actually virtually right there on the spot. Knowledgeable concierge as well as very good check-in staff. Covid rules well in place so stay was very comfortable overall despite cloudy and rainy weather. Highly recommended.

Compact room with castle view.
We booked a Hollywood twin and found the room to be quite small (it is Japan, so not unusula), but the beds were really comfortable and the room quiet. We had a lovely view of the castle from our windo, which opened (always a bonus to have some fresh air come in). Staff were helpful, and car parking was easy and reasonably priced. The hotel is an easy walk to the shopping street and surrounding area, where there are lots of eating options.

Clean and pleasant stay!
Hotel facilities were good, clean and met our expectations. The room was compact but sufficient space for 2 luggage to open and for us to walk around. However, location was slightly far off as there was still quite a distance to walk from the nearest tram stop.

Hotel is a little aways from the main shopping street and requires around a 10min walk or so from either the Kumamoto caste stop or Suidocho. That being said, the room is spacious and beds are large. Overall it's an old school western styled hotel that is comfy and relatable

Despite the location is very convenient and Breakfast was good, do not choose this hotel, it was not clean, there was a cockroach in my room, and so much mould in the bathroom. Their so called “Eco plan” was no one clean up your room during your stay but their price wasn’t low, just stay away from this hotel, there are other better choices with the same price. I have booked castle view room, my room was in 5/F, I didn’t see the castle view, may be just rooftop so I can’t regonise it was the Castle. Pillow was very hard.

Convenient
Location is good, near the main attractions and shopping areas. It is also convenient to take transportation nearby, like about five minutes walk to take a local tram to Kumamoto JR station.

Breakfast included in booking condition, but actually it offers for adults only, doesn't include children. And for child, it is 1000yen same as adult. It was disappointed because out of our expected expense.

Nice hotel close to the Kumamoto castle
The room is small, but comfortable enough. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel is a couple of tram stops away from the central train station and is located within comfortable walking distant to the Kumamoto castle.

The hotel is close to the Kumamoto Castle but unfortunately, the castle is closed for maintenance. I will book this hotel again when I go kumamoto next time.

Value for money, good for location
Location was good, about 5-7 minute walk from bus stop and just opposite Kumamoto Castle Park. Breakfast buffet was nice and room was cozy for 1 person. Only thing was my air-conditioner wasn't working well, it felt stuff at night. Thankfully, they provided a humidifier which helped a bit.

Nice hotel close to Kumamoto castle
The hotel is OK. Nothing incredible but clean (and small) rooms, friendly staff and well-located considering the touristic attractions of the city. To the tram station you need to walk a couple of blocks (4 or 5), but that´s OK.. There´s a bus station in front of the hotel. Breakfast was quite good.
