"Nice room, walkable location. Tepid pool was rather odd and was not warm enough, but the Polynesian Spa was nearby and it was fabulous!"

"Staff was very helpful at checkin and with activity recommendations, including ones that offered a discount for hotel guests. Room was very dated. Water temp for showers would switch hot to cold without warning. Minimal kitchen dishes and utensils to use during stay. Minimal parking at hotel but public parking on street outside. Staff warned us not to leave any valuables in the car due to break ins which was a bit disturbing. "

"Such a cool, old place. Staff was great, antique phone actually worked, decor was authentic and the common areas well decorated and comfortable. "

"Room was large but definitely needed some attention. It looked better in photos than it was. Pictures imply breakfast is an option, when I asked they said it wasn't and is accommodation only. Room faced road so was a bit noisy, double glazing may help here. On plus side parking is plentiful and is a convenient location."

"I paid $350 USD for one night, and it feels more like a motel than a hotel. I stayed in room 18 on the second floor, and there’s no elevator, so you have to carry your heavy luggage up the stairs. The carpet feels dirty, and at 12:00 am there’s a lot of noise coming from the bar next door—we can’t sleep. When I called reception, I was told to be patient. If you’re looking for a good night’s sleep after a long day, I’d recommend staying somewhere else. I believe the hotel should clearly disclose the nighttime noise, as they are well aware of the issue and I’m clearly not the first guest to complain. The hotel blamed the noise on a holiday evening—but it seems like a constant issue rather than a one-time occurrence."
