"I did not stay as it was too far from town centre, as I did not have a car, also no public transport and I knew there was no one at premises unless I phoned and I did not have a roaming phone. I would not have booked had I knew how far it was from town centre, also it was an isolated lace."

"really nice place, in the countryside but near to all attractions! with locally hired scooters can get around the whole island in a short time! the owners are wonderful people ready to help you for anything! very clean rooms (every day changed towels and sheets)! if you are looking for a quiet place to relax you've found it! "Great three night stay at The Bayou. Staff were polite and helpful with check in. We stayed in the Deluxe Super King which was modern, spacious and clean. The little snacks and drinks vouchers were a lovely touch. Air con worked very well with managing the temperature. The aesthetic of the hotel was beautiful and all areas were well maintained. The pool was a great temperature and we never struggled to find sunbeds. View from pool is lovely, especially during sunrise. The food at breakfast was varied. We also ate from the bar menu each afternoon and food service was available from the pool loungers. Only thing I would like to point out is the gym was very small and only provides cardio equipment, with no weights on offer. Overall a great stay, we would definitely recommend the hotel."

"Everything about our stay was excellent. The only small hiccup happened the evening before we left, we were sitting out on the balcony when we suddenly noticed a leaf snake slithering between the wooden planks. We were so shocked (and a little mesmerized) that we just froze and didn’t even think to take a picture. It gave us a bit of a scare, so we avoided the balcony after that, but it honestly felt like one of those rare, wild moments you remember We informed the staff at reception, and they were very responsive, they assured us it would be taken care of. Just something to be aware of if you’re not used to that kind of nature "

The Danna Langkawi - A Member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World

"We arecompletely amazed by this luxury hotel. From the staff to the facilities, everything is simply flawless. The team truly goes out of their way to assist you and even remembers your name. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with complimentary massages and refreshing towels, a lovely touch! The check-in process was smooth and personalized, with no waiting in line. Initially, we had booked the Merchant room with stunning Marina views, which was beautiful, but we were offered an upgrade to the Viceroy room with a sea view. We qualified for a complimentary upgrade, but for some reason, there was a charge, which was fine, and we don’t regret it at all. The room was exceptional, featuring a four-poster bed and ample space. The bathroom was impressive with his and hers sinks. Each room comes equipped with a Nespresso machine, which is fantastic. My only minor concern is that the mugs are quite large and don't fit properly under the machine, causing them to tilt. Unfortunately, when I left the machine unattended, the mug fell and broke. It might be wise to consider providing appropriately sized mugs to prevent any accidents. The swimming pool was wonderful, offering plenty of areas to relax and unwind. Breakfast at the Planters was incredible! You can choose between à la carte and a beautifully arranged buffet. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! There are numerous dining options available as well. I enjoyed tea and pastries at the Straits, which were delightful. We ordered "

"Stayed for a couple of nights at Bayview. Amazing staff members, great location to duty free shops and banks. Ample parking area outside of building. The room size including washroom was just right for a pleasant stay. The sea view Kings suite was worth spending extra bucks."
