Only the hansedom was good. Hotel Wyndham should have granted one time access to sports swimming pool. We have to pay for everything. nothing is complimentary.

Close to the water park

Booked to be close to the water park (not included in the room rate). Cleaning was not perfect, found dirt in the corners. Rooms are getting worn out.

We have booked our stay at the hotel as we would like to stay in the aqua park. All slides (except 1 small Indoor slide) where closed. Also the spa pools where closed. This is not stated through the booking or before arrival and we are very very disappointed. There where also aqua gym in the only open pool and we needed to leave the pool. We would not have been visiting the aqua park nor hotel if we where familiar with the conditions. The advertising material do not match the experience.

Disappointing Experience – Misleading Listing

We booked our stay at Wyndham Stralsund HanseDom through Hotels.com, with the main reason being the advertised “Indoor & Outdoor Pool” included as part of the hotel amenities. You can still see this claim here: Hotels.com listing. Unfortunately, this turned out to be highly misleading. False Advertising: The indoor and outdoor pools are not part of the hotel stay. They belong to a separate waterpark, which charges an additional 19€ per person. While the waterpark is marked with “additional fees,” the pools are not clearly separated in the listing—leading us to believe they were part of the included amenities. To make matters worse, the outdoor pool was closed due to construction, something we were not informed of in advance. We decided against visiting the waterpark altogether, as the main attraction was inaccessible and we didn’t feel it was worth the extra fee. Outdated and Unclean: The hotel was built in 1999 and feels like a time capsule from the late 90s. The carpets, curtains, and decor all appear original—and now 26 years later, they are visibly worn and stained. Cleanliness was a concern. Misleading Photos: The promotional photo (image 5 of 45 on Hotels.com) showing the bright, generous breakfast buffet is completely misleading. I’ve attached the listing photo and

Worst service, nice rooms

Nice rooms, terrible terrible service from the front desk. No hot water in the evening. The restaurant smelled like cheap chicken stock. The advertised features, like an indoor and outdoor pool didn't exist. When we asked about the nextdoor waterpark, we were told by one receptionist that it would be 15 euros and that it was open, 5 minutes later another receptionist told us it was closed, but would open the next day. When we went the next day, only the big pool was functioning, all slides, and whirlpools ect was out of order. I feel bad for all the parents who had promised their kids a trip to the water park... And none of the receptionists told us about everything being out of order.

Gut gefallen hat uns das Frühstück. Man hatte gute Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war okay. Der Zoo und ein großes Einkaufszentrum sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Innenstadt ist gut mit mit dem Bus erreichbar.

Zimmer könnten eine Grundreinigung der Bodenbeläge vertragen, ebenso wie der verkalkte Duschkopf und die undichte Duschkabinenabdichtung. Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffett war ausreichend und für jeden etwas dabei. Über die zusätzlichen Kosten lässt sich streiten. Grundsätzlich hat es uns gut gefallen. Unser Zimmer war ruhig und wir haben gut geschlafen. Alle weiteren Services wie Wellness, Schwimmhalle oder Sportangebot haben wir nicht genutzt.

Ein Hotel, welches in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Toilette in meinem Zimmer wies einen panzerartigen braunen Kalkrand am Beckenrand oberhalb des Wasserzuflusses auf. Ansonsten war das Hotelzimmer sauber. Proaktives Begrüßen durch das Personal gab es sehr selten, ich musste meistens den ersten Schritt dafür tun. Freundlichkeit seitens der Mitarbeiter war eher verhalten. Eine Mitarbeiterin im Frühstücksraum vergriff sich mir gegenüber im Ton und vor allem in der Wortwahl. Am Schluss meines Aufenthaltes keine Befragung durch die Rezeptionsmitarbeiterin, wie es mir gefallen hat. Insgesamt habe ich mich die ganze Zeit gefragt, ob ich hier wirklich willkommen bin. Positiv: Ein geräumiges und ruhiges Hotelzimmer, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, direkte Anbindung an das angrenzende Spaß- und Freizeitbad mit Wellnessbereich. Die Lage des Hotels ist insgesamt sehr praktisch (Einkaufscenter mit Tankstelle nebenan, Bushaltestelle fußläufig, gute Anbindung an den Fernverkehr, die Altstadt mit allen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist schnell zu erreichen). Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut (endlich mal ein Hotel, dass die Eier so kocht, dass sie nicht steinhart sind).

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Alles sauber, sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Spaßbad gleich nebenan ist ein toller Vorteil. Man kann im Bademantel einfach rüberlaufen, ist jedoch extra zu zahlen ( 15 % Rabatt für Hotelgäste). Frühstück war auch ok.

Das Hotel wird als komplettes Gebäude verkauft, und alles, was man dafür bezahlen muss, ist nicht gerade günstig. Das Hotel hat keinen Pool, keinen Fitnessraum, keine Sauna. Alles ist separat. Das Hotel hat nicht einmal eine Klimaanlage in den Zimmern. Das Frühstück war voll. Ich musste warten, bis ein Tisch frei wurde.

Das hotel selber hat keine innen bzw. Außenpools diese sind nur im Hansedom selbst ,wobei man d3n eintritt des doms auch zahlen muss ,was so in der beschreibung nicht stand Was gut war , das man kostenlos ins gym gehen konnte Am meisten zu bemängeln -> nach unseren aufenthalt kamen kosten die wir zahlen mussten was angeblich hausstandart ist was irgendwie null nachzuvollziehen war ... Und abendbrot gibt es zwar auch im hotel ,für die die noch nicht da waren (als beispiel schweinegeschnezeltes 24,- €) es sind echt kleine portionen und es ist saumäßig teuer "meiner meinung nach" Frühstück war okay

Das Hotel könnte eine Sanierung vertragen.Das Inventar ist abgewohnt,die Außenanlagen ungepflegt und die Fassaden beider Gebäude könnten besser aussehen. Aber wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im Bad und einen Super Service im Hotel.

Restaurant sehr teuer, kleine Portionen und sehr geringe Auswahl. Dusche ebenerdig, Wasser läuft nicht ab, sondern bis in das Zimmer rein. Frühstück gut, nur Fertigrührei, kleinere Auswahl. Top: HanseDom vom Hotel aus, leider mit Extrakosten. Tierpark gegenüber und das Einkaufszentrum welches Ende des Jahres fertig gebaut ist.

Rigtig fint hotel. Dog var jeg ikke opmærksom på, at vandland ikke er inkluderet i hotelprisen, så det var lige en ekstra udgift. Værelset var dejlig stort og rummeligt, men bar præg af, at det er af ældre dato. Det så meget slidt ud. Vi var også ude for, at vores nøglekort ikke virkede af flere omgange, og også parkeringskortet, hvilket var lidt irriterende. Morgenbuffeten var okay, men meget simpel. Ikke noget prangende. Røræggen kunne godt bruge en opgradering.
