Think twice before making reservation

1) They did not refund one day reduction even when requested over a month in advance. 2) the SPA was not open until 1pm!, 3) the floor of our room was being remodeled with several laundry carts containing various materials spread down the hallway. 4) Front desk and main floor was empty and with lights shut off by 9pm.

Das Hotel hat mir gut gefallen. Es ist offen, es ist hell, hat Raum und Ausstrahlung. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich hätte gern ein "hervorragend" gegeben, aber dafür fehlt das gewisse Etwas. Es ist alles zu unpersönlich. Der Geburtstag des Gastes wird nicht wahrgenommen. Ein Termin im Spa-Bereich war nicht zu bekommen, es strotzte eigentlich von der Leere der Mitarbeiter. Es wird dem Gast nichts extra geboten: kein Aquafitness, kein Tanz- oder Spieleabend, obwohl so viel Platz und sogar eine Bühne vorhanden sind. Ja, ich weiß, das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau, aber für die vollen 5 Sterne fehlte mir das.

Das Hotel ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Es liegt etwas am Stadtrand und man muss ein bisschen zum Zentrum laufen, was für uns aber kein Problem war. Ansonsten extrem freundlich, sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet, sehr hundefreundlich und ein toller Wellnessbereich. Wenn es für uns mal wieder auf den Darß geht, wissen wir jetzt schon, wo wir einkehren werden!!! Vielen Dank nochmal an das tolle Team.

schöner Aufenthalt in Zingst

Freundlicher Empfang. Großer Parkplatz (allerdings mit 15 EUR/Nacht recht teuer). Schönes Zimmer (statt des reservierten Einzelzimmers wurde ein Doppelzimmer mit Balkon zugewiesen). Offenes Badezimmerkonzept. Ruhig. Schönes Schwimmbad. Umfangreiches Frühstückbuffet, wo frisch z.B. Spiegeleier zubereitet wurden. Bei Halbpension umfangreiches Abendbuffet mit wechselnden Speisen. Zum Strand sind es ca. 1,3 km. Verbesserungswürdig: WLAN auf dem Zimmer sehr instabil und nahezu nicht nutzbar (obwohl im Gang in regelmäßigen Anständen Repeater an der Decke hingen. Sehr alter und kleiner Fernseher (beim aufklappen der Wandhalterung war auf der Rückseite des Fernseher das Produktionsdatum 2012 zu sehen). In einem 4* Superior Hotel modernerer Standard zu erwarten. Durch das offene Badkonzept enger Zugang zur Toilette. Die Zimmerkarte muss in einen Strom an/aus Schacht gesteckt werden. Sobald die Karte wieder gezogen wird, steht man sofort im Dunkeln (könnte mit Timer mit Abschaltverzögerung versehen werden). Schwimmbad über mehrere Treppen erreichbar. Sehr ärgerlich: Wenn das Restaurant stark besucht ist, muss man zum Frühstück auf die Halle bei der Bar ausweichen. Am ersten Tag wollte ich mir nur noch was vom Buffet holen. Obwohl eine voller Kaffee und Saft auf dem Tisch stand, hatte der Service übereifrig bei der Rückkehr den Frühstückstisch bereits komplett abgeräumt und ein nächster Gast wollte den Tisch besetzen. Mehr Aufmerksamkeit des Service wäre in dem Fall wünschenswert.

sehr schönes Hotel mit kleinen Mängeln...

ABSOLUT freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, tolles Frühstück, alle waren sehr bemüht und freundlich. Problematisch nur die Architektur, wir hatten ein Maisonettezimmer (dass da innen Treppen sind, logisch!) dass leider nur ungeschickt zu erreichen war (aus dem Aufzug raus, dann erstmal vier Stufen abwärts (!) - wie soll das gehen mit dem Gepäckwagen? - und dann vor dem Zimmer wieder vier Stufen hoch bis zur Tür... sehr unpraktisch. Dann war es immer sehr warm im Zimmer, und nur *ein einziges Fenster* hatte ein Insektengitter installiert. Keine Chance auf Lüftung... weil es gab sehr, sehr viele Stechmücken. Auch der Gang vor dem Zimmer, immer sehr heiss- es hätte zwar gegenüberliegende Türen gehabt, um Durchzug zu schaffen, aber eine war immer abgeschlossen.....bei 12 Tagen Aufenthalt wäre ausserdem 1x Bettwäsche wechseln zwischendurch auch ganz nett. :-)
