This is a traditional, elegant hotel in a convenient location close to the main railway station and very convenient for walking into the lovely old city. Excellent breakfast buffet, we didn't try their restaurant for dinner. We stayed here twice, for 1 night in a classic double room, which was comfortable, big enough but not large. Just a minor problem the shower spray wouldn't stay at a useful angle (there was a drench shower as an alternative). For the second time we stayed 4 nights, and booked a deluxe room as no classic rooms were available. This was magnificent, very large with three balcony windows and well furnished with elegant furniture from a bygone age, and made for a very memorable stay. However light sleepers be warned, you may find the noise of the trams going past disturbing.

Charming hotel with character. Rooms and facilities are a little dated but the staff were very friendly and we had no issues. Can't common on the food because we didn't eat there.
Beautiful hotel with a little wear. Staff was wonderful. Only issue, it’s right on tram line with a stop next to the hotel. A little noisy with open windows. Ask for an upper level room. Easy 10 minute walk to main train station so easy access to travel.
