I would not call this a hotel, but a hostel. And it’s probably the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. There was only one elevator and my room was on the 15th floor. There was always a lineup and a wait to get upstairs. In the bathroom you had to stand over the toilet to have a shower. It seemed to be clean, but because of the age of the place, it didn’t really look like it. Even though the bed was small, I can say that it was comfortable. Will I stay here again probably not.

Tight but manageable
My recent stay at this hotel, though with snug rooms and compact bathrooms, was surprisingly delightful. The clever design maximized space efficiency without compromising comfort. The room was fairly clean and had moderate amenities. Despite the size, the room did the job. It was equipped with the needed amenities such as your shampoo and body wash and a plug to charge your devices. Ultimately, if you value a cheap yet central location and don't mind a tight room then this is for you.

Not a hotel. It’s more like a hostel.
Entry to the hotel was not pleasant. The check in desk is at a different tower. The downstairs is a very just marketplace with people trying to seek you something. Small elevator and very tight spaces.

The property is nothing like it is advertised. The rooms air con was broken which left the room unbearably hot and the thin lacked all of the amenities advertised as well as being in a shoddy run down condition.

You get what you have paid for... Rooms are small but HKG is known for it. Stayed in double room. Budget friendly and easy access to Tsim Sha Tsui station for roaming around. Ideal for backpackers.

I checked in after 1AM, due to delayed flight, and a room was there for me. It was small, but clean, and I just loved it. Don't complain because it's not a comfort of regular hotels. This is a very special mansion in Hong Kong.

Convenient and comfortable
Every room is going to be small in Chung King Mansions, but the bed was comfortable, and the toilet was a decent size. Downside was the shower hose - tucked in the corner, over the toilet, you had to hold it to use it. Housekeeping was excellent. Good choice of fan or A/C.

Only setback is the location and the service elevator...but the rest are OK...i mean for HK stay this place is by far the best place I've been. And yes will definitely recommend to my friends. Staff are very courteous and polite!!!

The booking is discounted, which means you won't get a refund for cancelling no matter what you do. The hotel itself is located in a shady building full of thieves and foreigners. For your own safety, pay the extra money to stay in a different building.

Clean, but nothing else to recommend it
Room was very clean. About the only positive I'm afraid. The room was a DOUBLE, but was tiny: Barely room for anything other than the bed. No road noise because it's on the seventh floor; but slamming doors day and night were terrible. Wifi was extremely iffy and would simply not work at certain times (particularly the wee hours of the morning). The most disturbing thing, and the thing that keeps me from rating this place higher despite the rest, is the RUDENESS of the guy at the front desk. Inexcusable.

Great Staff/ Great Location
The hotel staff were awesome! They were very accommodating and were able to speak the English language. The advantageous location provides travellers easy access to sites in both Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Despite one of the elevators being upgraded, staff maintained accessibility to this part of the busy Chunking Mansions. It was a smaller room, but a clean one and central starting point for amazing Hong Kong!

Nice price in the heart of HK
The rooms are very small but like my fiancé was saying is that we’ll be spending most of our time out and about so no need for a big fancy hotel room. The room is clean with all the necessities one would expect. For 5 nights of going everywhere and having fun, the price of the room can’t be beat!

Hotel Canada - not such a lovely place!
Be aware, this is Hong Kong, so you get what you pay for. Good location for shopping, metro, Starbucks. My advice is try to avoid using elevator if you can as you may have to wait several minutes. I used fire escape for my daily commute up and down (I stayed on 7th floor). When checking out, negotiate prior so you don't have to lug your stuff up to the 15th floor where reception is. Overall, I would recommend for budget conscious people who are just looking for a place to sleep.

Good people work at this place. The location is nice. Everything else is from bad to worse. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. 1. First Finding this place is a change 2. The elevator is a nightmare it often takes 20 min of waiting to get in and is always packed like a cane of sardines this is only the way up the way down is something a didn’t have the patience to expensive is just 10+ levels and a labyrinth that takes you to a dark back alley for the final 3 levels. 3. Rooms are uninspiring, narrow and Quite awkward. If you are on a budget and the price is 25$ Or less it is probably a good deal and an adventure but if you want to be productive and come out rested or potentially invite someone to you room this is not your place. Have an amazing time in Hang Kong!

The hotel/hostel charged me with an additional fee amounting to almost the same cost of my original booking for one extra person when the additional person was only a child and no extra bed was even needed. I find this absolutely ridiculous and will never recommend them to others as they will rip you off! Never coming back to this hostel ever again.

not what i asked for, twin room so tiny....very misleading. after a few days gone, i asked the receptionist IF can we change to another room as someone had checked out...she was very rude and said why you telling me now after few days passed..as i didn't know the other room was bigger than mine. she was still rude and said i could swap over in 5 minuits..we never then botherd with that philipine woman again. suppose she was leaving that bigger room for her philipine mates. in future will pay a bit more and get decent hotel......AND NOT A GUEST HOUSE.!!

Very friendly staff, the location is super! It is our first time stay at this hotel, the style is quite different from the normal hotel. The lift is a bit of wait to be up and down. Guests are quite friendly when it come to share the lift. Good things, they have two lift, one for even number, one for odd number.

Room is tiny on the 16th floor only accessible by a lift which has long queues of people shower is over the toilet no chance of washing. This is the first room that my wife don't fit and she is only 4 foot 10 so it's not fit for small people .it did have wi fi and air conditioning .put the tv on the ceiling so that u can watch it

Holy cow it was small!! I have never seen such a small room in my life!! the picture is completely misleading. we couldn't come into the room together. One of us had to get on the bed and so the other person could get in the room. The bed was something between a single and a full. Our luggage had to go under the bed, the door couldn't even open fully.
