Most beautiful beaches and sunrise The hotel is like a elegant garden The staff is really nice and friendly The atmosphere is quite and you can hear the gorgeous sound of the bird You can see many lovely animals like monkeys lizard many kinds of bird and squirrels Standing on the balcony viewing the peaceful sea you know that life can really be a long adventure

The room had a nice balcony with a beautiful sea view and pristine beach. The pool was large and child friendly but without a lifeguard (probably not necessary)! There was a noticeable lack of staff - our room lacked towels when we arrived and we had to ask for our room to be cleaned after it was left for 2 days. Only 2 of the restaurants were open and the food was cold. The hotel is far away from KK so we could only eat at the 2 restaurants! There was no activity’s for children except the pool. The massage was good value for money and expertly done. Overall, this is a reasonable choice for those looking for a secluded getaway at an affordable price, but for our family with young children wishing to see more of Sabah, this didn’t fit the bill - we ended up checking out a day early and upgrading to a proper 5 star hotel in Tanjung Aru, which was the best decision we made.

Stayed at the Nexus for 2 weeks. Room had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. Amazing view from our balcony, overlooking a glorious beach. Didnt use the golf course but it looked well maintained and set out. Used alot of the amenities without issue. Staff are so polite and very attentive. Would have liked more dining choice, although there is building work happening which may solve this. 35 munutes ftom city so. although you are in a secluded area, its easy enough to use shuttle/taxi and experience everything on offer there. Would definately visit again.

A very mixed review! I have now stayed here on five different occasions however it has noticeably in disrepair and badly maintained after Covid. My stay this time was not great but on my previous stays 2006-2018 it was great therefore I will hope this is purely down to the effects of covid and will improve in the near future.

Highly recommended - beautiful hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is in a beautiful setting. On arrival James and Felix gave us a lovely welcome & explained where everything could be found, we received a room upgrade with a sea view & balcony as they are completing works / upgrades to the restaurant & rooms. The works took place from 8am onwards, it didn't effect us. Its great to see the money being invested. Our upgraded room was beautiful with a wonderful sea view. The food in the restaurants was of a very high standard, the same for the breakfast. All the staff are an absolute credit to the hotel, the staff on reception, restaurant (evening and breakfast), tthe pool staff, the bar, the cleaners, even the workmen onsite. Very polite and can't do enough for you. Highly recommend, we will definitely be going back in the future. Large list of available day trips and things to do, away from the hotel and plenty to do at the hotel, water sports etc, highly recommend the spa, we had a massage which was amazing. Large list of treatments, all very reasonably priced. Thank you to everyone at the hotel that made our honeymoon & holiday so special.

Please reconsider stay- horrible stay. The buildings could be so beautiful but they have left it to literally fall apart. We were apparently in the new/upgraded wing yet building fallong apart, dirty and water stopped working for period of time. Garbage left around for our three say stay in corridors and pool area and only half restaurants are open and those that are offer poor quality food. The breakfast utensils were on kleenex papers and the Chinese restaurant smelled like smoke with stained table clothes and chairs. The beach and ocean is only redeeming factor but not worth the stay. I would say 2 star hotel rating. Consider rebooking elsewhere.

Their food was TERRIBLE, TV broken and so loud!!!

Their food was TERRIBLE! The breakfast has limited number of food that doesn't even look good. And I had to return the food when I ordered some calamari and burger to the pool because it was just TERRIBLE! I understand they would have financial problems due to COVID19 but that doesn't mean they should offer such rubbish food to their guests. The location is far from the downtown, takes about an hour to get to the city but I had to go there every day for food, because there're not many restaurants neither nearby the resort. Also, the TV in the room was broken that their technicians couldn't even fix. Then purchase new TV for the guests!!! Also, the corridor was so loud and you can hear everybody walking by. You just can't deep sleep while you're on vacation. I don't think I will go there ever again.

직원들은 상냥하고 친절하지만 호텔의 위생상태,청소등 전반적인 호텔컨디션은 별로입니다. 발코니라하기에도 너무 협소한 곳에 소파가 있지만 곰팡이가 있어 나가지도 못 했어요. 해변은 오로지 산책용으로만 가능하고 호텔레스토랑의 모든 음식은 우리나가 길거리 음식 수준이네요.룸서비스 시키면 너무 오래걸리구요 가족여행이라 같이 쓸수있는 방을 선택하느라 넥서스를 선택할수없었는데요.이정도 였다는걸 알았다면 다른나라를 선택했을듯 합니다
