Nothing beats waking up to fresh snow falling outside your window (massive glass windows) and sipping on a hot cup of tea. The room was very cosy and comfortable! I had the best sleeps here. After a hard day of snow boarding, coming back to just sit in front of the fire, watch the snow fall, have a bath or have drinks with friends in the common area was absolutely amazing!! "Lovely, lovely place. Easily the most pleasant stay in our 4 week stay in Japan. Everything's designed to make feel you welcome and have an unforgettable experience. Staff is extremely helpful, gentle and welcoming. Breakfast buffet is something special, an experience worth living, honestly. For us the only downside is that our room felt very old, it could use a slight renovation, or maybe it's just meant to be like that. Also it's all very family friendly, and they have a shuttle service that takes you from and to Nagano station, which is really helpful. A lovely, lovely place indeed."
