Art Deco Imperial Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, with a great attention to detail. It was one of my favorite stays of all times. The beautiful art work, the furnishings, the interior design - everything is meticulously taken care of and spotless clean. It is situated right in the middle of all the action, close to the main attractions, city square, museums, transportation, restaurants, and shopping. My only disappointment was that they had no hot tub, although they had sauna and a gym. However, we were so busy exploring, we probably wouldn’t have had the time for it anyway. The buffet breakfast looked scrumptious, but it was too much food for us, so we skipped it. There is no shortage of food around the hotel area."

"Okay, first it was hot during our trip and the AC in the room did not cool lower than 23°C, even though it was set to 18°. The breakfast was awesome with plenty of options for everyone. I didn't like that we had to pay to use the pool, it's nothing special but it did cool us down, still this should be included in the room rate. Parking was easy, the outdoor lounge was great for watching the World Cup. Close to both the street cars and the train station. I would stay here again."

"Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location met my needs perfectly. My only suggestion for improvement is the shower/tub design. The bathtub had unusually high sides, making it difficult to step in and out safely. I'm 6'3", and even I had to bend my legs quite a bit to get in and out. It made me think that older guests or anyone with limited mobility could have a difficult time and potentially be at risk of slipping or falling. Other than that, I had a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Close to Prague Central Station and main tourist areas. Only issue we had was at check when paying tourist tax. The receptionist advised that my husband's card had declined, but our bank cleared the payment. Put a bit of a damper on our stay when we left! Which was a shame"
