"Ended up here for one night (flight delayed) after staying at another hotel where paid twice the price. The wholr experience here was such a pleasant experience. At check in..offered a drink, the person checking us in..very friendly and knowledgeable. Room was bigger than previous hotel. Shower was excellent. Breakfast staff was great. Lobby area welcoming and a good place to relax after a long day. Would definitely stay here next time in Amsterdam "

Aside from the room itself being cramped and expensive for the size due to being located at the airport, the CitizenM has other good things going for it that more than make up for the downsides: good food at the restaurant and not too expensive, very friendly and helpful staff, and a nice main floor to relax on all help keep that rating boosted. "We booked it as a romantic getaway for their spa rooms. However, it's not as convenient as we hoped location wise. The restaurants around it are sparse, especially when you come back from a long day out in the city or elsewhere. If we return to Amsterdam again, I think I'd stay closer in De Pijp or Jordaan where there's more restaurants and other things to do. Overall, the service and rooms are great though. No complaints there. "
