8.8/10 Excellent! (574 reviews)
The hotel has a great location, within walking distance of SAKAE Station, and there’s a Don Quijote (DONKI) right around the corner, which was very convenient for food, shopping and everyday essentials.
The hotel lobby is located on the 3rd floor. However, the building entrance isn’t exclusive to the hotel, as there are restaurants on the basement, 1st and 2nd floors.
The lift is also shared with the restaurants at 1st and 2nd floors in the building.
That said, you need to tap your room key in the lift to access the hotel room floors, which provides some security.
Unfortunately, as a female solo traveller, I didn’t feel particularly safe staying here. After around 9pm every night, there were often groups of people, mainly men, standing around DONKI and near the hotel entrance.
During my stay, I was approached by a man near the hotel at night who asked me if I wanted to sleep with him. It was an uncomfortable experience, and I didn’t feel safe until I had entered my room.
I understand that this may not be something the hotel can directly control, but given the price I paid, I expected the surrounding area and hotel entrance to feel more secure.
Personally, I don’t feel the hotel was worth the price, especially as a solo female traveller.
On the positive side, the hotel staff were really nice and friendly, and the location is certainly convenient.

"Mega Don Quijote is an easy 5-minute walk from the hotel. A coin-operated laundromat is also within a 5-minute walk. Subway station (Fushimi) is about 15 min walk. Breakfast Buffet: The food quality is not as good as it was during my previous stay in 2025. It was a bit disappointing this time."
