「We stayed at Castle Po’ipū Shores and, while the location is absolutely unreal, the unit itself felt pretty dated. Lots of rusty fixtures, and some of the room amenities were subpar—think “bring-your-own-screwdriver” energy. That said, it’s hard to be too mad when you’re watching sea turtles and sunsets from your lanai. Let’s be real: no one flies to Hawaii to hang out in their room. 「Excellent location to enjoy Poipu area, easily walkable to beach ( uphill return). We needed to keep front door open to get cool breeze into apartment. Would have appreciated aircon, however did know in advance that there wasn’t any. Property is well maintained including the pool and spa. Enjoy watching turtles in the surf! Would stay again. 」
