"Beautiful old mansion lovingly restored with so much charm! This was a fantastic location for our needs. We were able to walk past estates and cute cottages with beautiful gardens to shops and restaurants for breakfast and lunch. Close to the Buffalo History Museum and other local attractions and about 20 minutes from Niagara Falls. Our host was able to let us have an early check in time and he gave us a tour of the house with some interesting background info. He lives quietly on the third...

Hyatt Regency Buffalo / Hotel and Conference Center
10/10 Excellent
"Downtown Buffalo is half urban-renewal empty lots and half glorious century-old buildings. The hotel is a well-run corporate-type place with friendly staff and clean facilities. A safe bet."
"The Richardson is a unique hotel as it is one of HH Richardsons architectural masterpieces that was fortunately saved from the wrecking ball and is gradually being restored for various uses, the Hotel being the first of those. It is luxury priced but you are really paying to live in a piece of history. The breakfast is a simple continental, and the restaurant that used to be in the building is closed, but plenty of dining & shopping options are steps away in Elmwood. The decor with all of the historical photos plus the architectural museum on the lower level is excellent. A place you need to stay in at least once. We normally stay at my cousin’s but since we weren’t able to on this trip, we chose the Richardson."
"We always stay at the residence inn when visiting Buffalo. It is an extremely spacious room with a full refrigerator and lots of space to relax outside of the bed area. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the free self parking is s great asset. The room cost is also very competitive based on the room amenities. We will continue to stay at the residence inn any time we are in Buffalo. "

Close to the Buffalo History Museum and other local attractions and about 20 minutes from Niagara Falls. Our host was able to let us have an early check in time and he gave us a tour of the house with some interesting background info. He lives quietly on the third floor and we had the first and second floors to ourselves. Note, this is not a hotel, it is a private home. No room service, but a terrific kitchen with pots and pans and dishes. If you want a spa like retreat with full service, this is not for you. You have use of a parking space and front door entrance with your own keys to the front door and four separate keys for each bedroom. "
"This inn was beautiful! So many beautiful rooms and the basement billiard room was amazing. The owner was so kind and greeted us warmly. It was close to Buffalo State where we dropped our daughter off and was close to shopping and dining options. "
Take a tour through Buffalo’s bucolic and art-filled cemetery, which is home to a U.S. president’s gravesite and a mausoleum designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
Between boating on Hoyt Lake, seeing an open-air play and exploring Rumsey Forest, it is easy to forget that this park is located in the heart of downtown Buffalo.
Enter a world where you can explore weather, bodies, bugs, physics and more, all in one place. Buffalo’s world-class science museum also features a 3-D movie theater.
