The staff were all incredible throughout my stay. I ended up being snowed in for an extra day. The restaurant and bar are super cute! Highly recommend checking out this hotel. The museums in the area are really cool and Elmwood is loaded with tons of bars, cafes and restaurants so you have lots of options nearby as well.

Tucked away but well worth the hunt! A wonderful redevelopment of an amazing property. Very quiet, with amazing high-ceiling rooms. A must for architecture buffs.
Great stay in an historic building. Rooms were comfortable and beautiful in a boutique way. Staff friendly and the common areas were outstanding with many features retained. Fireplaces, stained glass and tiled floors. The pub was a big plus. Friendly and cozy. Food was really good and covktails first rate. Ill stay here again.
The manager was awesome, we had a temperature issue with our room and she moved us to a suite. It was an awesome. The suite was huge. I would like to book it on my next trip.

the hotel itself was beautiful but the food for the guest looked not fresh. The location is not that great. No nice restaurants nor stores around that area.
The room was amazing. It felt very cozy but still had an upscale look to it. The entire building itself is magnificent. All the staff was extremely friendly. I will definitely stay again.
This is a very special hotel! The architecture of the Richardson is one of a kind. It’s a unique experience staying here. Location in the north end of Elmwood Village couldn’t be better. Easy parking and walkable to great restaurants, shops and the art gallery. We loved the hotel bar! Special shoutout to the sweetest bartender <3 Will definitely recommend to friends.
The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly as could be! The Richardson felt like the center of action -- the holiday market out front was incredible, with people everywhere having a good time under the beautiful lights in this iconic architectural marvel. And once we were upstairs, it was quiet and cozy. Perfect spot.
Architectural Masterpiece! Interesting history. Beautiful hotel with the most wonderful staff! Spotlessly clean rooms that were so comfortable! Nice bar/ restaurant with such good food and to top it off a very capable bartender!

Liked: Amenities
Disliked: Cleanliness
The room was not in great condition the walls were very dirty with a lot of scuffs and marks. The shower was also not the cleanliest, but it got the job done. I am not one to complain. It wasn't a bad stay all in all.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the historic Richardson Hotel. It is a beautiful "old" hotel with modern rooms and it's own unique charm. I enjoyed the architecture of the building and the wonderfully high ceilings throughout the building and rooms as well as the extra wide hallways that you just don't see anywhere else. I had a great night sleep which is not always common when spending a night away from home.
It’s just a beautiful property. The architecture is renowned. The hotel was very quiet. I stayed there in 2020 under other ownership and there is a definite difference. I preferred the previous stay which was much more lively and welcoming - so it’s just a different vibe now and that’s okay! Reasonable rate, clean, quiet and like walking around a museum.
