「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. 「This was the most expensive stay of our trip. They also charge a $22 extra person fee (There were only two of us.) which I find ridiculous. Our view was also of a brick wall, so for $400 for one night I do not feel we got our money worth on this one. Parking was also a problem. 「The hotel was perfectly located for our roadtrip. We didn't have to drive into Isle of Skye when we arrived to the area late in the evening. The staff was welcoming and helpful with our late arrival as well. The room was extraordinary. It had a beautiful water view. The vibe at the hotel was quaint and homey. Everything was well maintained and extremely clean. We would stay again.」
