If you want a break from the crowded touristy areas of Zanzibar; I highly recommend Treetop. Just be aware that off property it’s a distance to find restaurants or proper markets. But Treetop is so good for a quiet restful stay in Zanzibar. It’s also very close to Jozani Forest which is a major attraction for nature and wildlife "

Really nice hotel restaurant with a range of breakfast options that are well tied to the wellness theme. Good location that’s close to hotspots like Maalum and a 30min drive to Salaam Cave. 24/7 security. "

"Absolutely serene with breathtaking views. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of local fruits and vegetables to enjoy. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are cleaned twice daily; however, this is when money went missing from our bedside during the evening service. Unfortunately, this can happen if valuables are left out. I believe having notice boards reminding guests to be vigilant would be helpful. "

"Pros about this hotel is the staff are excellent and extremely friendly and helpful and always serve you with a smile(makes you feel good!) Cons about this hotel are that there is isnt much entertainment in the evenings, the service of drinks/food could be abit faster considering it is a small complex. Could have more (hot) food options for breakfast. But overall 8.5/10 "
